| Description: |
"IMG Satellite" provides free web hosting for uploaded image files - upload as many images as you like. Allows images up to 1024kb in size, and the valid file types are JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and TIFF. Their free hosting service is hosted on a dedicated linux server. The service autogenerates thumbnails for easy linking of large images. There is no set limit to how much bandwidth images can consume. "It is possible that in extreme cases images may have to be removed for excessive bandwidth usage, for instance if several large images were being accessed from a very busy website, but this is very unlikely to affect normal users." Direct linking (hotlinking) is allowed for any website, such as message boards and auctions. There is currently no expiration on uploaded images. No signup is required, but the optional free registration gives extra benefits such as ability to view and delete images you previously uploaded, and see thumbnailed summary of previously uploaded pictures.

Very very well designed and put together site. The layout is very simple, which is exactly what is needed on a site of this nature. Very easy to see what you need to do. Great options with the type of image files you can upload and a very healthy maximum file size. For heavy users its worth signing up as its possible to keep referng and linking past images you have hosted. Would recommend to anyone.
