MiamiHost is a pretty good free hosting site. They tell you that is you use the free account you get limited on pictures to spare bandwith (of couse). I have been useing this free image hosting service for only a month, but it is one of the better sites, I think.

easy to use, great service. Within the last 24 hours they have updraded Maximum image size, storage space, and now bandwidth is unmetered.

A bit more complicated to use than some free image hosts, but has nice features. To upload files, first create at least one folder, and click on it. After uploading click "done" to see the image thumbnails and urls. Each image may have a name of up to 20 alpha-numeric characters.
