Excellent service -- if it had no limits of 200 kb per file and if it had SMTP email, absolutely I would have given them a 10 rating.

Atspace is pretty good! The only downfall is that sometimes I can not access my webpage and some files do not show that they are loaded. I like that they do not have any ads at all! That is a major plus!

I use Atspace for my own personal webpages, so I did not need a fancy domain. I just wanted free web space to put my things. Out of all the free servers that I have used, Atspace was definately my favorite. For one, it has lasted way longer than any of the others. Second, I find it very hard to find free servers that do not display banners or ads of any kind; certainly Atspace displays ads on its on web site, but I think that would only make sense since it is offering free space with no ads on your own site.  Overall I found Atspace a great freehosting server, and I hope it stays around for a long time.

Definitely an excellent free web host. There are no banners, and there is FTP upload or online manager, and a great forum where questions are answered. I have been with atspace for 3 years, and the downtime has been minimal. The webserver was only down once that I know of, due to malicious hackers, and recently due to webserver upgrades and maintenance. But on atspace's home page a message is listed when maintenance is being done, and questions will be answered in the forums. The servers are great, and FTP is very fast. I have recommended atspace to others, as I am very happy with the service, and after having been with other free hosts prior to atspace. I will not be going anywhere else. Atspace rocks!

I most enjoy this free web site host because of these two reasons: there are no ads, and ftp access is provided. This host is perfect for any webmaster that does not need all the frills of online webpage editing and other gizmos, just the web hosting itself. With 50 MB of FREE space, it is very difficult to go over the limit. There are only two negatives I would give this host: regardless of what they claim, they have slow servers at peak times of traffic, and the banishment of certain words like "aol" or "ebay" (forbidden words list). You can get an error all of a sudden on your website and have to go hunt down the meaning of it in their discussion forums. But their positives outweigh the negatives by far! I am very pleased!

AtSpace is the most incredible free hosting service I have seen. What they provide is a literal boon to people needing smaller sites to inform others about cool and exciting things that make life better. Unlike those other free web hosting guys with pop-ups and banners and other junk that destroy good web design, AtSpace is a real gem in a rough world.

I am a newbie in this field. In the meantime I have tried some free host services, and I think this one is the best I could find. Everything is fine with me. The only reason I rate it 9 is that I can not access my web page from my friend's computer or the internet cafe's computer.  I do not know why!
