A really good host! The best of the many hosts that I have tried so far! They offer 50mb space, unlimited bandwith and free POP3 email and lots more! Very reliable and good. But it would be good if they they include a code useres could use for the functionality of their forms.

Brilliant! The sign-up doesn't require Address, phone number etc. and there's no validation time!

Great service, pity there is no support for PHP etc though. The service would be much better if such support was present. The 30 day upload in order to keep your account is a bit of a pain, but it is one of the less vigorous conditions I have found thus far in my quest for a free hosting solution.
The anything@youdsubdomain.atspace.com provision provides plenty of possible POP3 email addresses
All above considered, I would give this site an overall thumbs-up for those who are financially limited but would like to "wet their feet" on the whole web hosting scene.

For me, this host really lived upto its reputation - Its fast and reliable. But I was dissapointed to read that they will place text ads on my site. Text ads look ugly and spoil the color scheme of the site, it would be better if they allow us to choose the color and position of their text-ads on our site. They should also remove the condition of atleast one access per month. I think atspace.com can become best free hosting if they allow ASP and PHP support also.

"We do not place any banners on the user web sites. Also the 30 day inactivity limit is for initial upload after the signup not for visits, once tha web site is uploaded there are not limits at all. So the users should not be bother by neither of those issues - they are not existent."

I was looking for a free web host to try out my website and atspace.com was the best of the lot. You don't even need an ftp program (even though I have one) to upload files because atspace provides you with an easy interface to add and delete files to your virtual domain. I have found the server here to be better than some paid services from other web hosts. It is really fast and every time I have checked my site the pages loaded with no problems. There are no banner ads added by atspace which is very nice and I find their policies to be fair considering this is a free virtual domain. It is very unusual to find a free web host of this caliber and I hope they keep it free for some time to come so everyone can give it a try. I recommend this webhost one hundred percent. Very easy to use service, though essential you use ftp for updating rather than the web interface that won't overwrite files (you have to delete them first). If you are a little creative there is a huge amount you can do with a website without PHP, CGI and SSI, although I hope these will be added in the future. The 50MB limit is for the account, not per domain, so if you are doing multiple large websites, you might start hitting problems, though by that time, you might be earning enough money to pay for a premium host. I am currently using Atspace extensively for niche sites.
