I have been using AtSpace for over a year, and I love it! There are no ads, hardly any down time, and fast servers, but the best part is you can host as many web sites as you want within the 50 MB limit. I host 5 different sites off my main account of a variety of different interests. AtSpace is a highly recommended host!

It has extremely quick support response (and resolution to problem) - very helpful and competant. It seems that today you find 24/7 support on several free hosting providers, but often they repeat standard phrases like parrots. This support actually helped me!

Wow! brilliant service and no banner ads, which is a revelation. Fantastic and so easy to use. FTP commander access couldn't be simpler, and I can not remember a downtime where the sites could not be used. Kepp it up please! fantastic!

Atspace is as they also claim -- it is banner-free hosting service. I am new to this web hosting service, and as I have seen, it is best because it has no forced ads or banners. But it does not activate your website fast. I think they should continue with their positive sides. In general, it is the website I recommend for my friends.

One of the better free hosts of the entire internet. here are some of their features:
- fast
- Unlimited data transfer limit and hits allowed
- easy browser-based file manager
- FTP suport
- no ads from the host, and you can put your own ads if you want.
- reliable servers (my last host always shut down my site, but atspace always maintain it on).

The max filesize is 250 kbytes.  Also the freehost TOS says: "FORBIDDEN FILES. User's free hosting account are restricted from uploading the following file extensions (filetypes not allowed to upload): .avi, .mov, .mp2, .mp3, .mpeg, .ram, .asf, .quota, .vbs, .shs, .scr, .exe, .cmd, .torrent, .wmv, .wma, .rm, .zip, .htacl, .htaclu. Also, no streaming files are allowed to be used on ATSPACE.COM servers!"

I can honestly say that this is the ONLY free web hosting service that delivers EXACTLY as it promises. I have viewed many others, and they have been very deceptive with what they state and what they do. And they do not even come close to what this one offers. Before investing in paying for a web hosting service with a domain name, I wanted to test my freesite out for a while. But with the bannerless ads, one would hardly know (save the subdomain of atspace). I rate ATSPACE.COM as excellent and am so happy with what they offer that I would not mind in the future upgrading to and paying for a whole domain hosting service with them. Very gratefully yours. After using this free hosting service for quite a while (at least 2 years, in my estimation), I have really grown to like ATSPACE a whole lot! The sign-up process is automated and instantaneous, web hosting downtime hardly ever happens, and adding virtual hosts is a piece of cake (to host multiple websites free on the same account). In short, ATSPACE rocks! The only issue I have is that they do not have PHP enabled. But this is not really a major problem unless you are managing large sites. I know PHP (or something similar) is required for message boards and so on, but one can always link to third party providers to get around that obstacle. It is my fervant hope that ATSPACE continues to provide this wonderful free service for many years to come. If you really need PHP, there is a sister site which you can find out about at their forums.

I have been on Atspace for nearly a year and have been fairly satisfied. I love the no banner or ads, and the ftp access and the support forum. Sometimes my pages do load slowly however. I am quite satisfied with my host, all in all. Oh, and I am not ashamed of my subdomain name like I might be if I would have chosen another free host.
