Avidgamers is completely FREE, although they are no longer allowing community creation except in their payed version, but many people are willing to give you old sites! I've been using it for 6 or 7 months now, and I love it! The only time it's down is when it gets a zillion people on at once (which hardly ever happens), or when it had a 'Denial of Service' attack a few weeks ago, but it recovered from that in a few days. Depending on the usage, it can be fast or slow, but usually the longest you wait is thirty seconds or so. It is one of the best sites I have ever seen, and I love it!

This host is really unusual and apparently you have to acrue points to get the credits needed to even have hosting.
It's a glorified phpwebsite community using gamers and charging $60 a year for the pleasure.

Whoever said AG is an awful host in an idiot. First of all, if you were smart you would realize that it hosts forums, not files. Secondly, it's up to the owner of the site if guests can check it out. Don't jump to conclusions.

You can't upload files, or I'm just doing it wrong. You need to be a member if you want to enter a community. this is a extremely bad host.
