I think this is very great how many features are offered for a free service; however, to complement such favorable hosting, you need a web builder to construct a site with Fateback itself.

Fateback is good but still has a few problems. I've been trying a lot of free web hosting servers and I have to say there aren't many good ones out there. Fateback is the best one I've used so far. It's server is extremely responsive, unlike the many others I have come across. I also think that it is very generous of Fateback to offer 60 gigabytes of space for free. My problem is that no matter how many times I try to change my password, it never works. Another thing I would like Fateback to have is a user message board. Message boards always help when you come across a problem. One other problem I had was that when I was using it I couldn't log in using dreamweaver. The web interface could be more user friendly. If Fateback can fix some of these problems, there is no doubt in my mind that Fateback will become the best Free web hosting program out there.

it's free so that's why i use it. i'd like to take advantage of the free space but my pictures are more than the 200K maximum so i can't use that. all my pics are around 400-500k digitals. the domain space is GREAT. i love having the free myname.fateback.com

This is an excellent host! Great features. Unlimited bandwidth is something you'd pay lots of $$$$ for. Downtime is miniscule. Very fast. Service is great as well. Fast responses to any questions or concerns you might have. I would recommend this host any time!

I haven't been able to login to update the pages. FTP connection closes on connection. I can't login from the web interface eeither, to change the pages and redirect visitors to a new URL. Last of all Customer Support does not respond to emails.

the unlimited bandwidth speaks for itself, and the 60 mb and 200 kb file limit is plenty of room for html files and picture files, although it would be nice to put some video clips on there. the http file uploader is nice since my last web host 0catch.com's ftp java program includes spyware.

CON:
- No Logout button from "Member Account" area, thus insecure
- Support Emails not answered
- No maintenance downtime notification emails sent to members
- Some account area features not explained in FAQ
- Problems signing up for more than one account with same contact email adddress
- Ad Banner large (the 20 pixel is in height not width) and on-top of pages instead of bottom; which makes member sites look un-professional and possibly reduces signups
- No Scripting ability for Databases for commercial member sites.
PRO:
- Lots of disk space
- Multiple domain and subdomain hosting with associated email accounts under one account
- Unlimited Bandwith, useful for commercial/popular sites (and not offered with most hosting services)
- File Hosting
- FTP upload
