Their free web page hosting registration page now says "Hostzoid free hosting is not currently taking new members. Instead, please consider signing up for an account at our partner site: GigaHive.com".

The free hosting account creation email was sent almost instantly. The website control panel is very simple interface, with limited features. Here is a list of the allowed file extensions to upload: txt, css, mpg, bmp, gif, jpg, png, doc, xls, sxw. You can create html web pages and edit them, but not upload them. The Host Zoid home page claims to support CGI, Perl, PHP, and SSI, but obviously this is not so, at least yet (maybe later). A Javascript ad code is added at the bottom of your html code, although I didn't see an advert on the free web page I created. There is a support forum, but the freehosting website is new, so there are no visitor comments yet (and no TOS). The freeweb server is fast. This free web site hosting company is the same as GigaHive (although with slightly different webhosting features). I will rate it 7 for having seemingly no ads yet.
