Has removed popups, so has no ads now:
"...we have now taken down all popup banners and replaced them with a hidden security feature that will block images, forms, etc.. from other web sites (such as ebay, yahoo, etc..). This new feature will allow LiveGate and it's members to have safe and ad free web hosting."

They don't put any ads on our web pages and that is definately a plus for a free host. They are lacking some script support unless you pay a one time fee for an upgrade which isn't too much at all.
They have a lot of support options available which really surprised me for a free host. You can email them, chat live or post on a forum and they always get back to you fast (usually within 10 minutes!).
Overall, I would recommend everyone at least try this host. you'll be surprised at the results.

BE WARY OF THIS ONE!!!! The very first indication of shodiness is a plea for donations to "keep LiveGate free ..." Wouldn't it be easier just to charge for the service?

The file manager is fairly nice and you can upload 5 or 10 files at once. The server was very fast and has SSI and PHP Version 4.0.6.
