You only can register at certain times and this host is bad.
"Subdomain signup is only available Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 GMT".

We have been using this host for a while now and have had no problems with down time or slow/unaccessible pages. When we first set up the site we had a small ftp problem but the issue was resolved with 1 email. I would not hesitate in recommending this web host to anyone wanting to get started with either the free option or even the paid-for options.
