When all was working well i had no complaints, enjoyed the fast uploads, the page layout and the name, however after hours of hard work i now find nrg.to seems to have vanished and i get routed to speedsurf. its too risky to devote any effort here should nrg.to appear again as a free host. i do not think it is going to be a long stay. was good for a short time, lol.
best freehost remains geocities.com, why? your page is there even if you forget about over time, bad news is very limited space. nrg.to has to prove itself to ever gain my trust and i miss my car project so bad!
their home page says "we will be back in a few hours, sorry for the trouble".

I don't know what your all complaining is about. NRG is still a quality web hoster. Show me another one that has 300mb, no ads, and fast uploads withouting have to post on a forum or some weird stuff like that.

Not bad, a pretty basic site with no FTP and no way to move files once uploaded, or at least I couldn't get it to do so. But, it is a lot of space for free and you can have as many accounts as you wish.

Hmm, it's okay for hosting simple websites. But there's really no ftp service and with the filemanager you can only upload files with a size of max. 800kb...

opened the account, which is very easy to do, so kudos for this. Saw that in fact there is no way to use an FTP for uploading, and so have not bothered to return. If FTP is not a concern then go elsewhere, there are far better. If there is FTP and I am just having a fit of delusion then please tell me, for I think I am right.

Can't set up an account on this site, cause the email address never appears valid, and the login code they provide does not work. Seriously, if you are going to provide a free web host, and you want more than 1 as a rating, let people actually sign up, or put a good reason as to why they cannot in the FaQ. That is in fact why it is there.
