Amazing, I just ran through a lot of free web site hosts, and none of them met my needs, but this free hosting site just gave me almost everything I need. So far... that is my first impression.

You need to use FTP to upload your files. There is no login to a control panel. You can access and manage your mysql database with phpmyadmin at http://support.phpnet.us/myadmin/

Great - quick and easy. No long forms to register. The only problem is the lack of a way to create a web page to display if the webpage cannot be found (custom error 404 page). Instead advertizing is displayed for error pages.

Excellent free PHP hosting provider, with PHP GD support (the library of php image functions). They have hosted my free website since May (about 3 months), with no problems at all.

This free website hosting site advertises 80G transfer bandwidth/month allowed, but they deleted my free web site without warning after using only 2G. They then locked my account, so a redirect page could not be posted. Very poor customer relations. So if your free site becomes popular (or you violate their TOS), it will be deleted.

* short subdomain URL free
Negatives:
* FTP connections time out fairly quickly during uploads
Would I recommend it? Yes.
Webserver speed? Good.
Support Features: Excellent.
It makes me think how they will be able to support it without ads or payment of some sort. We could probably see banners coming on in a while.

what I love about this free website host is that there is no maximum file size limit, and that there are totally no ads. however, at the moment, I find that I cannot connect to my ftp account - all account details and the host address are correct according to the email received from them. furthermore, I cannot find a contact email to ask them about it, or at least find a help section that is beyond two video tutorials. how do people get help specific to phpnet's freehosting services? [The server and FTP seem okay now.]

Well, their web servers were down a while, and I could not access my website, and sometimes the phpMyAdmin goes down also once in a while.

It took me two weeks to find a free webhosting service in the internet. I have tried several sites that people voted the best, but I think Php.Net is actually the best free webspace hosting site I have ever tried. Thanks Php.Net a lot for its support to the community.
