1: It is a much easier layout to maneuver in. In other webhosting websites, i get confused on which buttons are for which things.
2: Yes, i would recomend this freehosting, and i already have.
3: I think i started using ripway around August 2005.
4: Nothing has gone wrong, except when the software was switched, but over all the reliability is good, and constomer service replys quickly.
5: I'd say their web hosting server is fast.
6: support is good. the new short url helps me take up less room, the bandwith updates help, and the announcements almost everyday when there is a problem are good.

Actually I'm using this since customer service seems to be broken. Other than that, I like your being available when I need you. Without ripway, quite a few of my internet voyages would be impossible owing to my lack of an internet connection at home.

it's one of the best freehosting sites i found, but the waiting period for outsiders and visitors is TOO long. it is seriously a problem.

Good host, very complete (PHP etc.), nice service and if you have one small homepage, it's even to be rated ten. But 15Mb bandwidth a day is a little too small for a usual site. My site over there is still in beta-version, but when I open my page, I lose 1% of my bandwidth. I figure, when I am ready, I can only have about 25 visitors maximum a day and then I must be very cautious with the files I use in my pages. But still... nice free hosting service.

Ripway is one of the best services. It allows php, allows the usage of uploading/downloading, lets one get free codes or help make a spectacular website! Thus, I rate Ripway 10/10.

I really love this site. Of course I don't like the fact about the limited bandwidth and such, but I know that's a given and you can't do much about that. The only thing that I don't like is half of the time when I upload a file, it will take about 15 minutes to upload and when it does, the "Page Cannot be Found" page comes up, and it keeps coming up repetitively until the next day or so. But other than that, I can't complain. I absolutely love this. keep up the excellent work.

I did start with a free account, but now have paid account. In general I am very pleased with the hosting service. I like the look of the website - the setup + format of the interfaces is easy on the eyes. I also like being able to edit html from witin the host website. I miss the notepad files that used to track which files were being downloaded. I would like to be able to batch-upload groups of images but the current upload dialog works fine too. Would I recommend this free hosting? Absolutely, and I recommend this site all the time. A big limitation of the free accounts was the former 3meg file limit; now it's up to 10 and that seems like a great deal. I have used this host one or two years. Downtime is rare and usually short. I'm on almost every day. Generally the upload speeds are good with DSL.
I'm pretty lazy when it comes to tech support - I'm not likely to browse FAQ's or search help pages for very long. I did make a few inquiries in the ripway help forums at one point and got some good feedback from a rep. Daily updates on my account page regarding the progress of the site are good, but I don't usually read them. Mostly I like to log in quick, upload, update, and get out.

It's frustrating to be on the retail end of things but this customer exchange probably shouldn't be shown. Overall I am quite satisfied with the ripway.com website. Thanks!

Only 15mb per day. so do math, i got a 5 meg mp3. 3 downloads per day. Not good for free hosting large videos or music files.

Thanks for letting me store my stuff. i recommend it because other file storing websites do not give url's to the files that i have uploaded.
