the site is pretty cool, except for the fact that when others download your songs it increases your bandwidth allowance thingie. i think it'd be kool if you guys made it optional to allow others to download your songs because i have a few that are special to me and my boyfriend but half the time they dont work on our myspaces because people decide to download them. IT JUST REALLY STINKS...ya know. but overall i love the site. its really useful.

very stable. extremely dependable. user-friendly. not complicated at all unlike others. I think this is the best web hosting service there is. But of course, on free subscribers like me, the 15MB (formerly 10MB) limit of public downloads really stink. That is the only single negative aspect of Ripway. Besides that, nothing more to complain about.

This site is the best for free or paid hosting! there is not 1 single bit of ad or popups (which i really hate). they upgrade their services once and a while. you get 30mb of free web space and 15mb of daily download usage. you can upload 10mb!!
also upload usage (10mb) was 3 mb
also daily transfere limit was 5 then 10 now 15mb!!
Trust me when i say that ripway is the best! there is no popups on the website or ads, easy to use ftp usage and more! The least you could do is cheak it out!

Everything from your free service is great. I would recommend your service to my friends. I have been using your service for 2 years now. I do find that your service is reliable. The only features that is missing would be script libraries such as forms that can be saved on the system rather than sent to email. Other than that, most form of web scripting works great.

Everytime I download a song, it tells me that I've exceeded my limit (after a day or so). The problem is, that's not true. It says that I downloaded something again this morning but I never did. My account is constantly locked, with a few rare occasions, and therefore the music hardly ever plays on my page. It's a great idea...I just wish it worked.

Well this is is amazing for uploading content. you can even upload songs onto their server directly from their upload menu, which is rare, and the let you use content directly from their server to your myspace page/ blog (live journal) xanga, website and all. Most hosts don't let people do that. The downside is that if your bandwidth usage gets too high, they disable your account for a day. :-/

I have been using this hosting site for a few years now. Whenever I had an issue, it was fixed easily and quickly. My only negative feeling towards this site is that we should be getting more web space for how much we are paying. That alone has made me want to change sites many times, but I can't very easily because I've had those items on that site for years. I did recommend it to a few people when I first started. But even emails are giving away free 1 and 2 GB space. The downtime has never been a problem, and it's always done everything I need it to do. Yet again, my only thing against this site is the need for more general space for how much we pay each month.

Whenever I tried posting things from this website, I was always told that "I had exceeded my limitations with my account," even if I hadn't loaded anything into the website that day. I'm finding some other free hosting site with a larger bandwidth limit.

I like the fact that it allows the uploading of files and provides codes to be used (music) for websites like myspace, but I don't like the fact that the allowed bandwith is so low. It doesn't allow my projects to run smoothly at all, and I usually have to use another service to get it running.
