Oh dear... they brought down the server without notice because of what the previous reviewer is talking about. We were unable to backup our hosted files, and now we cannot retrieve them.
Now to signup you must have 25 or more contructive, meaningfull posts within the Spooted Community Forums. Also you must currently own your own domain name, and live in one of the following countries: Great Britain (UK), United States of America (USA), Canada, Austrailia, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, Holland, or France.

Spooted.com was a perfect host...WAS. Yesterday, they decided to not host subdomains (you have to buy your own domain to host with them) because of some law infringement. But they have cPanel, Fantastico, a great community, and much more. It was great having them host me...even if it was only a few days. See their forum for more details.

This is a fantastic free web host. I had been looking for the impossible: a free web host with enough power to support my generally photo heavy websites and still have great service. Spooted does that and has a Cpanel which is great.

Ive been on many free hosts over the years, and this one is by far my favorite. My free web site runs quickly, features are great, and the support community is growing quickly. Any downtime/problems are quickly resolved. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a free host, so long as spooted is taking orders.

only accepts "GREAT BRITAIN - UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - AUSTRALIA - NEW ZEALAND - CANADA - IRELAND - NORTHERN IRELAND".this might be a good host but unfortunately i am not eligible.
