After initial registering for the free cpanel hosting service, you get automatically sent an email that says, "Thank you for registering with YAW Four Network; your account will be reviewed and approved shortly", with verification link. After clicking that link, the Yaw4.net web page says, "After you have verified your account, please allow up to 48 hours for your account to be created. You will recieve a welcome email with all of your information." After they manually verified the info, I got an email an hour or so later (void of hosting account info though, but not needed for me; I hope you recorded your username and password, etc.). From their home page, you can click on login link to enter the ipanel administration area, which has links to cpanel, server status, support ticket system, change password, etc. Cpanel Pro control panel shows my free hosting account allows up to 10 mysql databases and 10 email addresses, and 1 ftp account. The server status looked very good - almost zero server load with 2 cpus, and hard drive partitions nearly empty. Cpanel is loaded with all the icons a paid hosting server has (actually more than most of my paid hosts -- cron jobs manager, Leech Protect, hotlink protection, MIME types, Agora Shopping Cart, PhpMyChat, phpBB bulletin board installer, SSL Manager, Error log, CGI Center, Scripts Library, Backup, Network Tools, Apache Handlers, Manage OpenPGP Keys, IP Deny Manager, and more), though I haven't tested them all yet. I did check the Statistics Software Configuration icon, and the websites stats were disabled . I used the cpanel file manager to upload files to the public_html folder (it lets you upload up to 12 files at a time; it was easier for me than using ftp upload since I only uploaded a few files). I noticed FrontPage server extensions were pre-installed, and you have a cgi-bin. There was a header and footer added to my free web pages, though currently just contains some test text code to be replaced with ads later, I presume. The webserver was fast loading webpages, and my SSI and PHP phpinfo test files worked (server is running PHP Version 5.0.5). Seems like a really good free cpanel web hosting provider, if you don't mind the ads put on your free webpages. Considering the manual verification of free hosting accounts process, I suspect the time to get approved will increase, although good for preventing abuse and therefore having more reliable web hosting services.
