This free php web hosting service looks really amazing! They give all that say. The only bad thing is that Zantastico script auto-installer in the control panel has really old version of the php scripts. I use Joomla and SMF, but the versions are really old.

It is great and fast server, with no filesize limit, but there are big problems with the php script installations if you are not too experienced in this. I can not install a forum through zantastico (because of a mysql database connect error), and can not find help on this problem. [Did you create the mysql database first?]

What's great about iFastNet? One word: EASY. They give you free and easy setup for blogs, forums, etc., and include a free FTP client that is simple to use for complete newbies. The only downside? I would like it to have more free web space, but it is still very nice and stable (it has never crashed with me).

There has been some server down-time, but the support team has always been helpful, and have consistently helped me solve my problem. There is a cpanel with filemanager and fantastico php installer, which was pretty easy. Basically, you have complete control over your free website. I would recommend this host to anyone who wanted a free host who provided ad-free php forums.

Great host - there is plenty enough free web space, and no ads! Furthermore, it is very fast web hosting server. But FTP service is sometimes full and slow. Anyway, I have found this to be the best free host.

Somehow I can not unzip files even though there is an "unzip" button. Also it seems impossible to install any cms's or forums other than those listed on zantastico, and most of them are out of date anyway. If you do, and you go to the install.php file, nothing comes up. This happened on another free web host except it was fixed once I tried their unzip function which actually worked. Their ftp server times out extremely quickly, but I guess it is ok for my purposes. There is no support forum either. Overall, however, I believe it is an okay host, providing free php and mysql hosting. It would be nice if it could disable php safe mode too.

IFastNet is a great free webspace hosting source, making our life easier, expecially when you use Zantastico php scripts installer. Another great thing is you can easily update your free website using ftp, and you have mysql db supported.
