As a Chinese citizen, I am used to seeing my free hosted sites being banned by the Great Firewall of China (without concerns about the site's content), yet ifastnet is an exception. It is fast (no kidding), reliable, and satisfies many needs for a webmaster who wants to maintain a WordPress educational site. I do not know if the ifastnet staff are reading this or not; if you are, please take my advice of adding a detailed instruction for Chinese citizens to pay for your premium hosting service (we can not pay Chinese Yuan directly?). I will be your first customer if such an instruction is issued (I will go to the UK shortly, and I will pay GBP for the web hosting service, but how about the vast Chinese market?). Think about it, please.

Good fast host! It does have a little downtime at times, but other than that, this is the best free host I have found! It is hosting my Joomla site on a subdomain.

The service was exellent, but lately they had quite a lot of down time, and they added banners, which overlap on your footer content.  The Ftp service is horrible -- it is always telling you that there was a timeout or that the host is too busy. Until they resolve the problems, it is practically unusable.

Despite its nice features and fast replies to your problem, the same fact remains: I have e-mail from them stating clearly that the freehosting has NO FORCED ADDS, but there are forced ads now. They are just not honest. I gave 2 in rating because they do reply to your mail. But I cannot give more because being honest is just the most basic essential thing you expect from any host.

This webhosting server has started to put google ads on my supposedly "free bannerless" site! Grrrr! That was not the agreement I agreed to.

I reviewed kindly on ifastnet a while ago because I was extremely delighted with the functionallity and how fine it all worked. But recently there was a lot of web hosting downtime, and now I have found that the service I acquired (previously banner-free, no ads, etc.) has been changed and no longer is offered; now they put ads in your webpage and do not even ask where do you want them or which color would fit best with your web page layout. The service is excellent though, as it was before, but what was great about this free host provider was the no-ad thing, and now it has been lost. ifastnet does not deserve to be listed or rated over the other free webspace providers. It is good, but not exceptional. What a shame.

It had impressive fast account registration and verification, but once registered, I found 2 things were a disappointment.
1) I tried to use Zantastico to install Phpbb 3.0 beta 5, but it got bounced saying "This installer is missing its zantastico-install file".
2) I attempted to install phpbb 2.2.1 on numerous occasions (using zantastico), all without success. Even though I have created a MySQL db, the phpbb installation always fails to connect to the mysql database.
Also there seems to be no obvious line of support to get my issue addressed. Please correct me if wrong.
It is a shame really, because I am desperate to move from another freehost and its continuous infrastructure problems to a much more stable environment. I hoped ifastnet would be the one, but if I can not even get a phpbb installed (which I have done successfully many times before with other free hosts), then it is of no use to me.

I used your free web space service because of it claiming to prove 30 GB traffic allowed per month and putting no ads on your web pages. Why now are ads put on all free web pages?!
