This is the best freewebhost that I have come across, and it actually was quite simple. however I am new to html coding, and was hoping for a free web builder tool that allows template uploading and editing. I like your service.

Great free php host! It has fantasic PHP software options built in. I have tried setting up PHP forums on many other free php hosters with no success, but with ifastnet I completed it in minutes. This is a great service which allows anyone to setup php websites and more, quickly and easily.

This is a very good free web site host, but unfortunately not as good or as easy as I had hoped after seeing the 7 pages of relatively high ratings and rebiews. It is very easy to create a freehosting account, and maintain it. zantastico makes installation of pre-selected scripts a breeze. I however wanted to find a free host which would host either phpgedview or retrospect gds. I had no problems uploading phpgedview; however editing/creating a gedcom was an issue, as it seemed to have exceeded some sort of memory cap, which in essence just halts everything (I think the memory usage cap is reset every so often). I initially chose phpgedview, as I wanted to be able to use the mysql db for a forum. So I deleted that script and tried the other. I had problems with uploading retrospect gds, using both coreftp and smartftp -- files or dirs would not be created, and coreftp would skip the files/dirs it could not upload and continue with the rest, causing some files to be incorrectly placed. Whereas smartftp would just stop if it could not create a file/dir. Net2ftp as used by the control panel is good, although not as swift as conventional ftp programs, and the unzip feature does not seem to work. however I feel these issues are more related to the software and not so much the host. Anyhow, eventually I was able to complete the uploading of retrospect gds files using smartftp by auto-skipping files which already existed on the web server. Installation of retrospect gds went smooth as silk. then the gedcom import again capped the memory limit, but in this case maybe five minutes later it was all good. My retrospect gds site is up and running. What I truly like about this host is the lack of limitation with filesize uploads, which for gedcom users is a good thing. but the memory cap thing is not good. Overall what they offer is very good, and if it were not for the memory cap limit I would consider it excellent. I wish them well and hope they continue long into the future. I do highly recommend this free host web site.

I use this free web hosting site, and I can do all my work with that huge free space that they give. with the mySQL I can install all my php scripts. the filemanager is perfect. there is one problem: the ftp did not work, so I need to use the filemanager instead.

This freehost is one of the best I have seen. it gives you features that other freehosts do not. when I first signed up, there was a couple of errors that came up, but they have seemed to stop now. the negative thing is a script was running that needed a file to be uploaded by the host, which was a bit sad. I could not run the script, but apart from that, everything else is good. this is a really good free host, and yes, I would tell people about it. I have used this host for 2 weeks now, and it has been very reliable.

I am admin of several webs, and although I try to get a different server for each one, I always end up signing up at ifastnet. They are the best free host server, I can say. I love them. They have instant free hosting activation, no file size limit, and no downtime. they are great. I can not believe their rating is not higher here.
