"Free File Host" is a free file sharing service site where you can upload videos, audios, photos, and other filetypes up to 500 MB each. Registration on the free filehost is optional. If you use it for free video hosting, it has an embedded video play so you can watch videos or play MP3s on the video download pages. The download speeds are unrestricted. The free filesharing web servers let you host up to 500 megabytes of any type of file, and your hosted file will be on their webservers for at least 30 days (usually longer). You can also send your download links to friends via emails by giving the email addresses in the file upload form. There is no bandwidth limit and no download limit -- they do not remove the uploaded files from the web server regardless of how much traffic they receive. The file download webpage has a 30-second delay counter before the file download can begin. The free filehosting services are powered by the "Easy File Share" script from PeerGoal.com.

It is so much better because it has more room to download longer and higher quality videos! Plus it is faster than other free file host servers!

I spent an hoour uploading a huge file, and nothing happened. It works on smaller files though. Maybe there was also a problem with my ISP or something on uploading the large file.

I have been using this site, and they do not have any popups anymore, and are allowed in google index again. They do have a timer and a click to download, but that is easy enough to ignore for a FREE FILE HOSTING service. I know they had some server issues and tried some other advertising programs, but I think they have things sorted now.

Be careful if you use this one -- be sure to register an account or set to email yourself the link because otherwise all your uploading will go to waste when it finishes and they do not give you the download link. I made the mistake of uploading a 400mb file without being logged into an account, and the upload finished, but no link.  what a waste of 18 hours. Also do not use this website to upload in IE or an IE based browser unless you can disable the sound. The page reloads every second and in IE it makes this annoying click every time it reloads. I had to have my computer on mute because I could not stand it. One good point is it does have a file upload progress bar and the estimated time that the upload will finish. Only the speed it shows that you are uploading is greatly exaggerated. It showed me uploading at the speed of 63 kbs, and I can not even download that fast. There is no way I was uploading at that rate.
Also, at the moment, their website is down due to mysql errors:
"Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/ffhcom/public_html/loader.inc.php on line 44. I cannot connect to the database because: Too many connections."
Added 2007-2-2:
Their website is back up now. There are 2 spammy popups on their home page, and their website is banned in Google, possibly due to the pop-ups, lack of text content, and being part of bad link network with his other sites.
