All hosted images were lost yes due to technical difficulties that forced us to clear the whole server. I have to mention here that the server has been running fine for 2 years with almost no downtime. I'm sorry if this caused you any trouble.

This seemed too good to be true...for a while. Yesterday I viewed my website only to discover that BigHosting had managed to wreak havok by losing all the files I had hosted with them and instead displayed 404 notices all over the place. All my files were mine to use and no commercial usage was involved so I don't accept that I had in any way violated their T&C and they hadn't contacted me to report a problem or posted anything on my account that I would see when using their services. I had used them for some months without problems so i had come to rely upon them only to be treated like that. Never again will I use them and I would advise all other users to beware of them.

They lost all the hosted images I posted, and it's now replaced with a 404, even for images uploaded within the past 2 days.

it's okay, but it takes long on my computer (thats saying something. :P) and the size isn't big enough for mp3's.

This is a very good hoster and it allows you to use a wide range of different file types and everything else - certainly recommended! Also, it has quite a nice colour scheme!
