The "File Den" free file hosting service lets upload your image, document, audio, and video files to put links to on other websites, auctions, communities, or to share with friends and family. The free filesharing service has an unregistered version where people that do not want to register can anonymous upload files up to 50mb in size with these file extensions supported (images only): jpeg, jpg, png, gif, bmp. With free registration, each user gets 500 MB of personal allocated storage space and many other features to make sharing files easy, such as ability of uploading more filetypes, such as mp3, txt, avi, wmv, mpg, mpeg, doc. If you are registered, you can upload files that are as large as 50 megabytes each. If you are uploading many files, there is a batch upload feature -- simply upload a Zip file (must be named "upload.zip" or "batch.zip") containing all your files. There is no specified time limit that hosted files are removed from the free filehosting server -- files stay there "forever". Hotlinking (direct linking files) works, but only on files that are uploaded by registered users (i.e. not uploaded to the server using the anonymous uploader). The maximum downloads per month is 5GB for free accounts. FileDen is currently running on a modified version of the celerondude.com script.

They have recently added a 20GB per month bandwith limit because of abuse, but it's still the best with 500MB of freespace and hotlinking supported.

I read the previous FileDen reviews and, yes, this free file hosting site is very similar to filelodge. Filelodge used to be the best, but since bought by Bolt, it has gone down the drain, and today, I have just found out that your picshosted on FileLodge are replaced by their own advertising banners from time to time. but you, the owner of the pics, if you log onto any website with your own IP address, will see your pics. Others will see something like this: "banner from filelodge : this is an one-off annoucement". I found out by chance, by logging on from my mate's computer. So I am going to give a try to Fileden; and bye, filelodge, because how can they be so sneaky? this is the truth. and I am truly disappointed with FileLodge.

I am using this from past 1 month. I read that this is hosting by the same person who created the filelodge.com. Until now I did not find any problem with this. Connection is okay and downloading speed also ok. And I like the unlimited downloads allowed and no file expiry period.

Great, but I can't upload file bigger than 30mb.  It should be fixed or the site should say the limit is 30 mb, not 50.
