"File Planet .us" is a free file hosting server open to people of all countries, featuring 1000 mb of free online space and a personal filemanager to keep track of all your hosted files. Upload files up to 5120 kb for free filehosting and hotlinking in auctions, blogs, Myspace, forums, and websites. You have the ability to delete any stored files you no longer want hosted. You can upload almost all files types -- upload any file extension / filetype except server scripting language extensions and executables (e.g., php and cgi) due to the security risks involved. There is a 1GB/month bandwidth limit. You can create up to 10 folders in the file manager for files organization. Registering (free) is required, with instant activation.

Am I expecting too much when I see they claim "almost any file type" and think of more than what's actually allowed: "jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, txt"? So I upload a simple jpg picture, and it put a dreadful watermark across the entire length of the middle of the uploaded imaged, rendering it totally worthless.
