"Free File Upload .net" is a free file hosting service using multiple servers for the maximum uptime of your hosted files. There is a 50MB file size limit on the free file uploads, and no limit on number of downloads or download bandwidth (subject to the fair usage policy). The free filehosting service has 200mbits of bandwidth and over 1 terabyte of hard drive storage space in its servers. There is a 30-days inactivity time-out on files. No direct linking to files, but instead you are given a download URL from a webpage with ads. Use their web hosting service to host your files on their reliable dedicated server network and share them with your friends and on message boards and blogs. You can freely host most file types, including movies, songs, films, mp3s, games, music, demos, and more. Operated by the same hosting company as PhotoJerk.

"Owing to a move to a new server and unforseen issues, FreeFileUpload is not currently accepting new files. We expect to have secured extra storage space to get this done by: July 4th. At the current time, uploaded files may not be downloaded, however no files have been lost."

Request timeout? Actually, a 6 mb movie should not time out downloading when it only took about one minute to upload on my 24/8 VDSL. Maybe only a temporary problem, still a sign of host getting overloaded.

Request time outs happen when your dynamic download link has timed out. You have 300 seconds to begin downloading the file from the given link. This prevents abuse, and our host is not overloaded. Request timeouts also happen if you try to hotlink your movie with the dynamic link; the link times out - visitors must view our add splash download page to get the latest link.
