"Gime Host .com" is a free file hosting service which allows unlimited downloads, unlimited uploads, unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited space for online sharing of pictures/photos, videos, audios, documents, and more. All files are hosted on dedicated servers. All known filetypes are allowed except php and html. They claim that uploaded files will never expire unless it violates their TOS. Maximum filesize is 250 MB per file, and split-archives are allowed. After uploading the file to their servers you will receive a download code/link which you can share with others. The download page has an 30-second delay you must wait before you can begin downloading the hosted file from their server. Registration is not required to upload or download. The web site is running SendScript PRO script from sendscript.com.

They are not unlimited everything as they claimed. They just say nothing about allowed usage and delete files at will. I've uploaded split archives and they got deleted in one day. Even some tiny jpg images got deleted (maybe they lost all files on a server crash with no backup). If you can't offer those services, you just say the limit on your pages. Let users know how many can you offer instead of deleting user files. A free hosting service that deletes files for no reason is useless. Also the 15-second delay counter was increased to a lengthy 30 seconds before you can click yet another link to begin your file download.

Gimehost is great! the staff first put a 40 second delay, and I was like... shocked! I emailed them, and they set it to 15 seconds, wow.

The 30 second wait time and the misleading link button is absolutely horrible! People who come to get your file can be misdirected several times before getting to your file--if they ever get to it.
