Insel Pix was a free picture hosting website which allows unregistered users to upload photos and images, hosted with unlimited bandwidth. It let you upload and hotlink images up to 5mb (5000 KB), which is fairly large filesize limit compared to most free image hosting services that allow hotlinking full-size images. The free imagehosting web site provides unlimited storage space to upload your pics, and supports uploading these image fle extensions: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp. You can hot-link your hosted photos on blogs, forums, ebay auctions, and other web sites.

My Reply to the Dec. 30 review below:
We are hosted on a shared server -- as you can see, our web site is hosted by Hostrs.com (check us out on the free hosting section). I do not think this effects our image hosting services. If it starts to cause a problem, we will purchase a new web hosting server. Sign-up is required on our website due to many spammers and bad people uploading stuff that a normal person would not look at. To keep our image hosting fast and reliable, we ban users and ISP's that cause problems.

The web site is hosted on a shared server which hosts 418 other web sites, and also the website does not allow guest uploads (signing up is required).

Literally perfect. It has 5mb filesize limitation, unlimited bandwidth, accounts, and allows hotlinking pix. What more could you want in a free image file host?
