"My File Cabin" gives you 250 megabytes of free file storage and file hosting with 2 mb upload limit and no set bandwidth limits (although users who use excessive amounts of over 10GBs per month will run the risk of being suspended or deleted). Hotlinking is allowed (direct linking), and all file types are allowed to upload except for .exe, php, pl, and cgi (you can upload images, documents, music, video, Flash files, audio, etc.). Can be used with blogs, personal sites, forum posting, ebay auctions, etc. Images are kept on the MyFileCabin server indefinitely. Powered by "Uploader" version 6.1 script by celerondude.com. Signup is required for the free file hosting accounts.

It's best to avoid this host, only because it is constantly down and stops working. For now, it is working again, but you never really know what will happen to your files.

It worked first time and then I couldn't do anything else after I tried to upload another file. It also got to the point that the website wouldn't even respond despite checking my firewall. IMO - not recommended.

i was the "glowing review" below. this site no longer exists...all my files are gone and what it's morphed into..."myfilehut.com", which looks like the old site, no longer recognizes me as a user. very, very disgusted.

It was excellent until it wouldn't let me upload any more images, and then all of a sudden it quit working completely, now it looks like I'll have to find a new host (again).

file cabin had some script problems up until the very end of june. i created my account before then, but didn't use it until this evening. it is WORKING LIKE A DREAM! 250MB's of free web space, upload ALL TYPES of files, unlimited bandwidth...and from what i can tell right now, FAST SERVERS.
those who have given up on this site, TRY IT NOW!
