Free digital media hosting service allowing unlimited uploads, with registration required. Upload your picture, video, audio, or media file, and then you are given the URL of a web page with your uploaded content. Share photos, audios, videos, and pictures with family and friends. File size limit is 2 MB for photos and images (file extensions allowed: jpg, jpeg, gif, png); and 25 MB for video (wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg, mov, asf, asx, mp4, 3g2), audio (mp3, mid, wav, midi), and Macromedia Flash (swf) file formats. Uploaded files are removed after 120 days. You can browse the most-viewed and top-rated videos, and comment and rate them. The free media hosting service is run on a network of Linux powered dedicated servers. You can list all your uploaded files on a given free homepage that looks like www.putfile.com/yourname. You are allowed to hotlink/embed an image onto a webpage, blog, or in a message board, but you cannot hotlink/embed a video, Flash, or audio file (only link to its webpage). Your uploaded media file will stay on their servers for six months since its last view. That means that as long as your image, sound, or video file receives at least one view every six months, it will stay hosted online forever (unless removed by the uploader, TOS violation, or DMCA Policy). WMV and MPG videos are thumbnailed automatically, but it may take up to 72 hours for the uploaded video to get a thumbnail image, or for the uploaded media to show up in categories because of their screening process.

Great site, easy to use. 1 meg limit allows me to upload my photoshop creations. AIM feature is great, lets you send the picture link in an instant message.
