This web site offers free files hosting services with a 200 mb file size limit, but no webspace limits -- unlimited storage space; upload as many files as you want. You can split large files into more files if its filesize is too large. No registration is required to upload and host files free (signing up is optional for more features). All uploaded files that have no downloads in a time period of 30 days (1 month) are deleted automatically from the filehosting server by their system. You cannot upload files with these file extensions: php, cgi, htaccess, pl, com, scr, htm, html. The download page requires you to enter a short captcha and then wait 30 seconds for a delay counter. Upload-Globe was previously at upload-globe.com, but now redirects to TheFileHosting.com.

Very helpful. The uploading progress bar shows speed and state of your upload. The uploads have a decent time, too!

This website now redirects to inselpix.com, a free image host owned by the same person. The script had some security problems, and it seems he has given up on this site.
[As of 2007-9-29, their free filehost is functioning again, with a slightly different interface.]

Reply to last post by owner: Yes, it does not upload with the correct extension because you should not try to direct link to the file -- that is illegal. If you use the link we provide you with, it should work great.

It does not download the file with the correct file extension, so that it ends up looking like a generic file and your computer has to ask you what program to open it with.
