It is almost always down. If I wanted a site which is never online, I would not bother to upload it at all. When it is working, freesitehoster.com offers 2.5 GB diskspace, 20 GB monthly bandwidth limit, MySQL databases, Awstats website statistics, and add-on domain name (free domain web hosting), Layered Panel control panel, filesize limit of 5 MB, and instant activation. However it is currently down. Beware of these free hosts that have no ads on your site but rely on trying to get users to "upgrade" with some paid hosting affiliate link to cover their costs. Most are not serious about continuing free hosting, and they pull the plug on the web hosting server within a month.

The site is very fast to create new accounts. All the features are good except it denies the javascript files in your site, and also embedded fonts such as .eot file extension (Embedded OpenType Font) are also not accepted. My website was based on some javascripts (to show counting clock and for a typing interface), so their site just dissappointed me, as I could not continue with this free hosting offer. But if anyone needs a free webspace host without those features, this is a good hosting.
Also their website is currently only showing error 502: "Bad Gateway - The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server."

Reply by freesitehoster.com owner on Feb. 4: "My site was taken down from your listing because we were experiencing a technical issue. A user signed up and did an add-on domain that matched our site's domain name that caused the system to malfunction with the network producing a bad gateway error. That has been corrected, and will not happen again."
Their domain name and website was just sold on SitePoint forums (Feb. 6).

The free web page host does not allow uploading .css files, or .js files, and it is nearly impossible to access php myadmin. You can "upgrade", but if you do, it is the same as buying hostgator paid hosting for a domain name and moving your website there.

The first signup page said there was an "undefined variable" error before it redirected to the main page, but the registration still worked. The file manager uploader form lets you upload 3 files at once. The free webpages had no banners, links, or ads put on them, abd PHP5 is supported (Version 5.1.6 according to phpinfo).
