Free Pc Host is now once again taking new freewebspace hosting signups. They said they have upgraded their web servers and are now offering 100mb free web space storage and 3 gb of bandwidth per month. Both of these amounts can be upgraded simply by request, as the limitations are only to limit abuse. The free hosting service is ad supported, as a banner will be displayed at the top of your website. Freehosting members have access to PHP version 4.4.3, 1 Mysql database, as well as 24/7 ftp access. FTP transfers and web page loading from the server were both fast. On top of html pages was placed an iframe with 728x90 Google adsense ad (text/image), but there were no ads on my php pages (yet). I was not able to login to Xpanel (yet?), but I suspect that is a bug they will fix soon, or else maybe it takes some time after signing up. freepchost.com is banned in Google though -- it is not indexed in their search engine.

Their signup page is somewhat hidden (click "Free Web Hosting") in their top menu). However their registration is temporarily closed at the moment:
"Important Notice- As of September 21 Free Hosting Sign Ups have been Temporarily Closed while we Upgrade Our Systems. Current Users Are not affected in any Way and Can Log In as Normal. We Apologize for The Inconvenience. We expect this to be complete in approximately 48-72 hours, so please check back soon."
