HostFree4Life.com (which is the same as hf4l.com, to which it now redirects) was sold last month on SitePoint website auctions forums, and was down the last week.

It is not just annoying with the pop-up that comes up every 2 seconds; its uptime has to be about 5%.

I went to the "Host Free 4 Life" site, and it said to choose domain or subdomain hosting. I clicked on the subdomain hosting and started to fill in the info. After I completed the info and clicked "continue" it said there was a problem and to fix what was indicated. Nothing was indicated, so I changed a few things and clicked "continue" again. It said that there was a problem and that I needed to fix the indicated thing, but nothing was indicated as needing to be fixed. It would not even let me signup.
