Their reseller hosting account is suspended - out of business now. They did not offer much anyway, just 10 MB free web space, SSI scripting, and 100 MB/month bandwidth limit.

"Host Lite" has lowered the free space from 25 MB to 10mb, and the monthly traffic limit from 250mb to only 100mb per month (puny). The freehosting control panel uses the Genesis Web Authoring System. There are few features, but at least there are no banners or popups on your free web pages. Their website says that all signups must first be approved by support, and the free hosting application asks for a website description, so they probably do not accept most websites.

If you're looking for a reliable and speedy free web host, then this is what I'd recommend. Hostlite really does exceed all expectations for a free hosting service. For a start, they won't place any advertisements on your site AT ALL. And they are VERY fast. They offer an easy-to-use control panel with easy links and logins to other services (such as bravenet). The only catch is the amount of web space offered, but 25mb is more than adequate for small-medium sized sites. And, if you need more, then you can easily upgrade (I have!) to their paid plans. $3.49 is overpriced but the $5.49 deal offers real value. Also, their support are very helpful, friendly and quick. Nothing bad to say so far.
