This hosting is good for the little bandwidth and small site. The loading speed is fair enough. I have been using this for 2 years without any problems. The only bad thing is the 1-month inactivity limit -- it is required to do something in the account every 30 days, but that is a little bit silly action for someone not very frequently updating their web site.

I have been using ripway more than a year now, and generally I am really satisfied with it. The web hosting is free and has NO forced ads, which is hard to find nowadays. It is also reliable, and the server is fast enough for me. I totally recommend ripway for people who do not need much webspace. One downside is that they will disable your website if you did not login for a while.

I have been using this freewebspace server for almost 2 years and never got ripped (even though the name of the host is ripway -- LOL). I would say this server is the best that I have ever used among free hosting servers because it is reliable and they do updates often, even for non-paying hosting accounts. If I had enough cash, I would have bought to use the upgraded hosting plan, but I still need some cash somehow; that is why I have to stick with freebie one.

I put the non-embed code in the footers of my forum to host music files on my Ripway account on another site. The music plays great if you sign into the forum using Internet Explorer but will NOT work if logged in using Firefox or Opera. Most of our members use Firefox, so this is not a good thing (not a problem with the host actually, but just the link code they give you). They should provide HTML codes that are compatible with all major browser types.

I like this web host, but I am sorry to report that there seems to be a bug with "User Account Exceeded Bandwidth" because my stats report that I used 0 bytes. Except for the fact that they are trying to make you upgrade your account, it is great!

Ripway is a great host with few negative feedbacks. They have super-fast support and not to mention that the servers are speedy also. There are, however, a few negative aspects. I do not like the h1 part located in every free user's website name. Also, when you add www. to the link, it does not work properly. I would definitely suggest this free web space host to other people. It is an amazing host with many positive features. The majority of the time the web servers are very quick. There is the occasional times when it is slightly slow. I am not pleased with the limited number of features. I realize that I am a non-paying hosting member, but a few more features would be nice. I believe that they should let us host at least one MySQL database because you usually can not have a successful website without one.

I love everything about ripway except that the videos and music skip when scrolling down my myspace page. It is a inconvenience. I completely stopped using ripway because of this. There is a good variety of music hosted but there are a lot of songs that are not on here or some of the ones that are on here aren't the entire song or the video will not be the original. I do not know; maybe I am still not hip to how this site works, but those are the problems I've encountered in my few months with the service.

Far and away the best free home page host I have ever found! I have been using RipWay for a few years. I have used it as a "chalkboard" to learn how to script HTML, to build pieces of a website from the ground up the old-fashioned way. It is a great way to see how things will look when they are "live" online. My free homepage loads quickly, and I have never had a problem with it.

The file hosting works, but there are some technical issues.
1. I had forgotten my login details, so I clicked on the forgotten password link. After entering my email address I received error 500 internal server error - and no email. So I had to sign up again (and lost my files of course).
2. I attempted to use the forum, but upon registration it crashed due to a smtp error, and I was not able to log in, which is probably why there is only about 3 threads in the forum. So if you can fix these issues, I am sure it would be a better freehosting place.

They allow for a very small free bandwidth usage, but they always say I have exceeded my bandwidth usage even though I think there was none. I would not recommend this site unless you do not plan on having much web traffic to your website files. I have used this site for years. No it has not been reliable due to the bandwidth overage causing my webpages and files to be down a lot. The server was always pretty fast, when you could actually use it. The features were easy to use, again, when you could use it.

It is fast, free server and it is cool. Negative aspects? I have seen none. Yeah, sure I recommend this host. Support ripway! I have used this for about a month, and it has been reliable. I don't think I ever bumped into its downtime. The web hosting server has superb speed.

Ripway's free file hosting is great. For the past 2 years they have had little problems and always seem to fix any problem right away. I mainly use it to help my webpage look good with background images and some small mp3 files. The only real downfall is the 100mb daily limit, but for a free site I am not complaining. Keep up the good work, guys.

Of the free hosting sites I have used, RIPWAY.COM is by far the best with a fast file manager and file upload. I have never had a problem with this hosting site. I can not say the same about the others I tried: from webpages that do not load to a file manager that does not work to ad banners that crowd the page and ruin the internet experience. I used to work, but now I can not add music to myspace pages from Ripway. It is very annoying when it used to work because then I loved it and my friends always wondered how I did that. It was so cool. Now it has not worked for me. What gives? You can still use it for other websites and simple free file hosting.

I have to say the service is NOT excellent. I find it to be slow, downtimes occur when they should not, and it gets blocked many times by various sites. I also find support to be lacking, and the deletion because of not logging in to be horrible, as well. You have to log in once every 30 days, or they delete your website. Fine, but they do not take into question when people use the ftp option to access their site. When they say without warning, they are not kidding. There is no message to say your account is being considered for deletion, and no kind of notification. Bandwidth gets eaten up from the site extremely fast, even for the premium webhosting accounts. I only suggest this site if you have no other choice for small, unimportant projects, and short term hotlinking - nothing further.

I have been using ripway for my website for three months and would say that their free hosting service is excellent. This being my first website, the upload process was easy and without error. I had my web site up in hours, and all links work fine. I have many illustrations on my site, and the images load quickly, even for me, and I am still on dial-up. I will definitely consider ripway for the pay services should my site create interest from my targeted audience. This may take more time, and I am glad to be hosted by ripway during this test market phase of my website.

I actually have no complaints about this website. I have not experienced downtime myself, but perhaps I am not online at my forums when this happens. I have and will continue to recommend this site for free image hosting services. The server seems fast and reliable. I have used the forums very little, but did not appreciate the spam. I just checked my download limit, and I got this message (see below). I do not understand what is happening here. This does not add up. Can anyone fix this? I would really appreciate it.

Maybe the bandwidth stats quoted in the control panel are not realtime (up-to-date), as the limiter is which disables the downloading ability.

I did love Ripway, but NOT anymore. The help forum is flooded with spam and "adult" links. I have had my account closed by Ripway twice in less than a month - the reason being that I had not logged in in the past 30 days. There must be a glitch somewhere. My last account that was deleted was deleted while I was actually logged-in. I was automatically logged-out, and when I tried to log in again, I got this message: "This account has expired or has been marked for removal. Reason for termination: Keyword - TOS. Please contact us if you wish to reactivate." I used my Ripway account to store my auction templates THAT I PAID FOR, so this really stinks.

I should think many people that sign up to sites like this do so for the purpose of uploading music videos for use on profile sites. As music videos average between 14 - 16mb in size, this free webhosting service is of no use for hosting music videos, and as I was given no choice but to accept some company sending me junk mail in order to complete the sign up process, this seems like a bit of a rip off. Please tell me how I can terminate this account.

I am very satisfied with the service, even though users do not get a lot of web space and have traffic limitations. For me it is still the best free hosting provider I have seen in a long time. The site managing tools have simple and very user-friendly interface. I do not use them, but I am sure it is something that many other users will appreciate. The best part of free hosting here is that it is ad-free and users are able to upload files via FTP.

I am very pleased with the fast and reliable free web space service provided by Ripway. Additionally I am also impressed that this host site allows for a range of files to be uploaded from pictures to codes to music clips. The storage room per user is also very generous. The only criticism I have for Ripway would be that users have to activate their account every thirty days, or are threatened with the loss of their accounts. Please correct me if I am under the wrong impression. This is highly inconvenient, as it is not easy to remember to constantly activate our accounts - many of us already have very busy schedules as it is.

It has good webhosting uptime with litte to no concern with the access speed. There are clear links to upgrade the service, but nothing to downgrade from a paid service. It could use better tutorials for both making the most out of web hosting and blog services. The server leaves a lot assumed with the end user's capability.

The webhost has lightning upload speed. Daily/Weekly/Monthly allowance is superior to most free web space providers! I have been using RipWay for over a year now, and their service is unsurpassed. I have tried photobucket and all the regulars, but RipWay's service is sublime! And as a Web Designer I find RipWay extremley versatile in the fact that they accept .ico files for favicons. I have, as of yet, been unable to find another free hosting provider that provides this option. If you would like to consider an account with RipWay, then you will not be dissapointed! Only thing I pity for this hosting is they provide no mysql databases.  I recommend this free hosting website. They have fast servers, and php DOES work. I think it is about a month or 2 months that I have been hosted here so far. I have never experienced any downtime whatsoever.

What an amazing host! It is one of the few free hosts that has no ads or popups at all! A lot of free web hosting web sites that do not have ads do not last very long and may shut down without warning (I have had this happen three times in the past), but not ripway. This site is as reliable as ever, and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

I am very upset because I paid for a monthly subscription, and I came online today to upload another song and put it on my myspace profile. The song uploads fine, but when I go to get the codes it only shows two. I usually have to use the 3rd code. The last code does not show up, so I try to contact them! Well it takes me to a yahoo site! I enter my username and the password, and it does not work. There is NO OTHER option on their website to contact them by! Why am I paying for this filehosting service with no support? I need the code for my uploaded song file. What a pain! If I can not get it from their service, I will find another.

Right now my GIF's are not working on my page because it says my downloads are over the limit (bandwidth exceeded). The chart shows this is not the case. Please fix this. I have been using Ripway for 3 years. I really find Ripway very useful for my job. I can have all my teaching material available at my fingertips, no matter where I am (I teach at 3 different colleges.) Ripway has also saved my behind more than once. I use Ripway as a back-up for my workfiles, and twice my computers have crashed ruining everything except for my precious workfiles which were safe on Ripway. Download is quick and reliable. They put no advertisements on my free web site pages, and PHP scripts are allowed. There are tons of good things about Ripway, like unlimited uploads and FTP access. Those first two characteristics are just the reasons I personally use it.

I just upgraded because my bandwidth limit had been exceeded, and I am still barred. People cannot hear my music on myspace despite me just paying you money to host the music files. I find the free hosting of ripway very nice. No, it is not unlimited space or bandwidth, but it is very sufficient for hosting my files. The only problem I have had is not all php scripts, webpages, and files want to work. That is not to say that none work. Overall I am very satisfied with the freewebspace hosting service.

4 days after the shock of the "account deleted" message, they fixed it! it was their mistake. In the meantime I had frantically looked for a similar webhost but could not find not any! either they have ads, or raters say they are often down, or they do not work on Mac. So I now can say Ripway is really the best free web hosting server!

This site is a rip off! Do not pay for hosting upgrades. I paid for an upgrade to my web hosting account 4 days ago. it is suppossed to activate instantly, but it didn't. then I contacted them via their service department the same day, just like they say in the help section, but got no reply and my account still shows up as being a free hosting account rather then a paid account, even though the money has already been taken from the bank! I feel robbed. After repeated attempts to contact them through help and service departments, still nothing, not even a reply of "yes we have recieved your email" - nothing at all. I will report this site badly to anyone who will listen. internet theives deserve whatever negative feedback they get!

Ripway is a handy little web site, as far as the free website hosting version is concerned. The need to log in every 30 days can be a drag, and the 30 MB storage limit is a little cramped, but 150 MB of bandwidth is all I will need for sharing pictures and songs. It is generally pretty reliable, too. Also, unlike putfile.com, I am relatively certain Ripway does not go selling your e-mail information - a definite plus there.

Well to be honest, the free hosting service allows me to play my mp3 file on my friendster account, but there are times that downloading the mp3 is very slow! Is it server maintainace? Having fast download time is a big deal for your site! the faster the file download, the better the satisfaction, and more clients will register. Here I can actually upload files for free and show them to my friends. Most free filehosting services just allow pictures. I am glad to use this service. However I have such a slow connection that I can not upload certain files -- it keeps saying "connection reset" and I have to try again. If there was a way for dial-up users to upload big files and quickly, that would be great. I would recommend this free hosting web site. even though I may not be able to upload large files, most people I know have a faster connection. I have used this free host for a couple of weeks. I have stopped uploading things because I can not upload things I want to. My files are 5 - 10 megs, and my ISP connection is just the slowest ever. Concerning reliability, there have been a few things that had errors. I could not change the "index.html" thing when I created an index page. I had to rename it just to get it to work. then when renaming did not work, I deleted it and uploaded a new index page with a different name. Overall, I would say it is 80% reliable. Again, for me it seems slow, but that is not because of their service; it is becuase of my slow ISP Internet connection. Overall, I like using this service.

Ripway provides a simple service, just free file-hosting. No fancy promises are made, therefore none are broken. Customer service is top-notch. Before I noticed that MySpace had started blocking their URLs, they gave me a notice and a different address to link to so my files could still be accessed. Ripway is a good website, and I would (or should I say "had already") recommend this hosting site to some of my friends already. Basically I use it to add audio sounds to my blog so as to make it more lively. However due to limited bandwith, some readers who come to my blog are unable to hear the sound files. The one issue I have is the 150 bandwidth allowanc -- my hosted pictures get periodically blocked because of this limitation, and it is very annoying to have people go to a webpage and see that none of the pictures are working. Ripway is easy to use, forces no ads, has no catches and sends no spam. You can have 6 file uploads at once, and you get TONS OF SPACE. The downsides are that 60 days without use and they delete your free website account, snf there is no PHP mail() enabled. Would I recommend this freehosting web site? Yeah! I just recommended it to someone two minutes ago. LOL.
I have used this free webspace host too long to count. Their reliable servers have had 100% uptime, and the server speed is of average quality. The support is really lacking, but is rarely ever needed. The features rock!

First let me explain that I use a brand new HP with a Pentium Dual Core Processor computer. I am running XP Pro connected with a cable modem running 769mps. I religiously defrag and delete temp files! So that being said, I was not impressed at all with RipWay. The links did not work properly. The upload was horribly slow. So I tried paying for a couple months of premium service, and nothing changed. I paid, and 15 minutes later found out that there is no difference between free and premium except that you get a higher bandwidth per day. But what does that matter when it is such a pain to upload, plus I can not get my money back, so ripway got 16 dollars out of me with little in exchange. I use other free web site hosting accounts that work a whole lot better than ripway. Sorry, ripway, but your service severely pales in comparison to other freehosting sites. I only wish I could get my money back.

I have been working with ripside for some time now (since a few years ago, I think), and they have always kept my free webhosting server up. I use Ripway to store files online free, so I do not have to carry a usb drive around too often. I have been considering upgrading to a proffessional account, but I do not need a domain name, I would prefer to just keep my little directory I have now , and I have not figured out how to do that yet on ripway. This web site is an excellent, fast, and VERY DEPENDABLE free online file storage host. I have tried a few other online hosting sites which promise more memory for free accounts, but they are usually buggy, and have slower uploads and downloads. Nothing is more annoying than encountering an error at the end of a 6 megabyte file upload, when you have a slow connection. I have never experienced any of these sort of errors while using my ripway account, and I am very pleased with its reliability. The only drawback to using this web site is the limited memory allowance for free hosting accounts, but compared to other hosts, this site makes up for those limits with bulletproof programming and speedy uploads. I would recommend it to anyone.

Ripway was only the second file-hosting website I tried out, but I have never regretted sticking with it. I purchased a plan A and then a plan B account several months ago as my needs grew. In the rare instances where there has been a problem (it is not perfect, after all), someone responds and fixes it within twenty-four hours. I have not seen the web site go down. It is very reliable hosting and very useful. I love being able to see how often my files have been downloaded in the previous 24 hours. I am a customer for life.

This is a very good free website hosting site with no advertisement banners on your free webpages, and quality service on fast servers. I use it for file storage, which they allow, but you can also use it for web hosting, and the web address they provide users with the free service is nicer than most free hosting web addresses, "zz".ripway.com/username. There is a limit on bandwidth that is rather low for large web sites, but for smaller sites this is a great free web hosting service. Also, currently you can boost your bandwidth daily maximum from 50 MB to 100 MB per 24 hours if you follow their instructions from a link on the account page to set up a NewBlog blog account. Overall, ripway.com is a very good free and pay web host.

I think that the upload limit for free accounts should be added to 15MB per file. Honestly, Ripway is good, but it is just that I can not upload some of my favourite songs because some of the song file sizes are more than 10MB. I can not sign up as a premium member either, as I do not have a credit card. If the Ripway team would upgrade it, I will really, really appreciate it. Yep, I would certainly recommend this free hosting website, although I have barely used it for more than half a year. Still, it is good. I do not know if there are downtimes, because I certainly never experienced them before.

The service is way slow. When it doesn't work all day, it is such a drag... and what new upload tool -- yeah, right. I paid the $5 upgrade fee so people can listen to my mp3s on blog without zapping my usage allowance, thinking maybe that would up my power to upload. Nope, it is stuck more than not. It is incredible: one free hosting account was deleted without any warning, and there were only FOUR pictures hosted. today I have created a new freehosting account, uploaded 4 pictures (about 14 mb), and after two hours the downloads were disabled because the bandwith was exeeded! I often recommend this free hosting web site. the only thing I would prefer is for the images that are uploaded to show as a thumbnail with the linkcodes. Honesty, how can someone like RipWay's free hosting service? I have a DSL connection, and it took me 45 minuets to upload a 4kb text document. 45 minutes! That is just terrible! The minute I find a different web host I like, I am making sure my account is gone.

Ripway is terrible. I have only downloaded one or two songs since I opened this account, and somehow it says I have downloaded a number of songs in the past 24 hours. I had another Ripway account but I closed it because I was constantly being put over my daily download limit, sometimes on days when I was not even download anything. I suggest you make Ripway more secure if you want to have a successful site.

I love RipWay! It gives me storage for my music files so I can directlink or embed music on my website, blog site, or even My Space on MSN! I started to use ripway because I wanted to put songs on my myspace page that I had on my computer. Therefore I needed a place to upload them free. I found ripway. I have tried other free filehosts but truthfully, there is no reason I would not keep using ripway. I see nothing bad to it at all. As soon as you go to my webpage you instantly start to hear my hosted music file, with no wait time. Right now I have a free hosting account, but I was looking at the prices to upgrade and they are very low priced. Seriously the first lowest level is like $5/month. you have to be a bum not to be able to afford $5/month. Anyways, I have not upgraded yet because I have not yet had the need to, but the day I do, I will.

Brilliant host, ftp access, no advertisements! To get around any bandwidth problems, link to photos on a free imagehosting site such as flickr or photobucket. It is also a bit of a long url, but using a .tk domain name, or redirection from cjb.net gets around the problem.

I like that RipWay is easy to use, but all my friends, and probably me too, are going to photobucket and myfilehut.com. Everyone HATES how Ripway LOCKS your ACCOUNT for that 24hr period, just because you accidently uploaded too much and exceed the very low bandwidth limits.

Ripway has smooth, direct service, and even with the low bandwidth limit (30mb/day), still their 24 hour service has never failed me. I have even coaxed much of my classmates to use Ripway as a free space host for their html files. More power to ripway! May we have unlimited bandwidth soon!

I think this is a great service. I am learning how to use flash, and Ripway allows me to display and use my smaller completed flash files on an actual website. I also can store music for use on my personal page. it is great for beginners. I do wish it allowed more bandwith per day usage, but it works.

I signed up for the web hosting free account as a test for the premium service. No Mp3 file that plays fine from my hard drive using Windows Media Player will play back after uploading it to Ripway. Media player error is that the file extension is not recognized or that the Ripway site utilizes incompatible compressing methods. I was not impressed at all at the unreliability.

The only thing I don't like about the free hosting site is that if I don't log on every so often my free page gets shut down. I have lost a lot of stuff this way. it is a bit of a pain. I use the free site to display my photography work, and sometimes I don't have anything to update with for a while because I don't have time to get any work done. It would be nice if I didn't have to worry about my free pages being deleted or at least if I was given a week's notice instead of a day's notice.

For the little bit I do, Ripway works just fine. If you are trying to run a business or need heavy hosting, get out the credit card. I have recommended Ripway to many up and coming webmasters, mostly my kids and their friends. No ads and easy file management make it an attractive option. I believe I have used this freehost about three years. I have never had a problem. But I am a lite user. I don't recall ever facing downtime or slow loading pages. For my needs, I am satisfied. Ripway hosting seems just as good or better than most free web site hosting providers. If you want a joke host, try geocities or tripod. For being mega-internet multi-service operations, they come up very short. I have only asked for help once (via forum), and Scott was very patient and quick to assist me in my moment of html idiocy. Thanks, Buddy! Overall this freehosting service is fine. I am not leaving until you guys kick me out.

Ripway is just about the only free hosting web site that I have found that you can actually upload .mp3, .wav, and.wmp files to! That is why I love it. After a year of searching, I found a website that will allow me to do this without paying. The only downside to it is that there is a low capacity to the amount of songs you can have hosted free - normally from 6-10 if you have converted them. But it is great, and I am very happy I found ripway!

I think it is a great website to use. I just had one problem. I was trying to setup a friend so he can use your web site but I didn't know that you couldn't do it using the same computer! I didn't know that it worked by the use of the IP address. So I hope I didn't prevent my friend from being able to set up his own paid membership at his home because while trying to set him up I used his username and e-mail address! It should be made more clear of how the website works! But overall it is a good service to have!

ripway is a really great service. I have nothing bad to say about it, except for the fact that there is a certain limit to the times a hosted song may be downloading. that is killing me. I originally tried ripway, thinking if it was good I would pay for a premium membership, but the fact that paying up to $40 for a membership, and having a limit is turning me off. even so, I would recommend this free web hosting service. It is excellent in my opinion, except for that little fault. this webhosting is extremely fast and reliable, but again, it leaves me hanging when I have reached my downloading capacity limit. I love the fact that this is easy to use, understandable, and far from rocket science, which a lot of other freehosting places are. I will keep using this host, but I doubt I will pay for the service until the whole downloading capacity issue is perhaps adjusted.

Negative points: So far I haven't seen anything negative about Ripway. I think I haven't seen a plan that provides domain name registration with their hosting though. That is the only thing that is stopping me from signing up to their web hosting plans. I definitely recommend Ripway as free hosting provider. I am working on my website for a while and it is very effective. I have been a member for almost half a year (I think) but I have only begun developing my website lately. This is THE best free webs site hosting services anywhere. I would certainly reccomend it. they have 30 MB of disc space absolutely free. They have absolutely no ads and reasonable TOS, not to mention you can DOUBLE your bandwidth just by joining a blog owned by the same guy. also they have support for PHP scripts, which can be used to make message boards. I tried to find a host like this for 3 years AND FOUND IT ON THIS VERY WEBSITE about a month ago. It has an upload page so you don't have to know FTP programs, and has support. I don't know the percent uptime, but it is up whenever I go to it. The URL is h1.ripway.com/username/ (I'd have preferred a subdomain, but this is OK too, and considering the other features, I can overlook that). If you are looking for a free host, you have found it. this is perfect for hosting any web site.

I have always been looking for a website where I will be able to upload certain certain files for free that other known freehosting sites can't or probably won't. I was looking for one through some search site. I was redirected to this post by a user recommending certain sites that upload audio files; ripway is one of them. I actually visited all the four sites recommended but only ripway made me really sign-up to it. It offers free hosting of audio files without any trick up their sleeves. ripway only asks users to register and be sure to log-in very often, which is not even too much to ask from us users compared to the quality of service that ripway is giving us. The only very minor downside I found in the web site is that other users that find my url will be able to download my uploaded media and it will be subtracted from my daily traffic limit. However, for me it is never something I will be complaining about. Like I said, it is nothing compared to the quality of service that ripway is giving us. The uploading time doesn't take so long, and the files, when used for my webpage, plays almost immediately. All in all, it is excellent.

My hosted song file plays periodically, but not consistantly. I don't know if I would recomend it at this point. I only paid $15 for the first 30 days, and as of now, I wish I hadn't. I have only been using it for a few days, but must be doing it correctly if the song on my website plays once in a while. Reliable? Down about 90% of the time I have tried. well the free file sharing part I must say is very good, and storage-wise even the 30mb is more then enough for a good sized file, but then there is the one thing I am really upset with - the fact that when your bandwith runs out, you have to wait 24 hours for it to go back to normal, and I think that is supposed to be for downloading files only, but in my case I put an mp3 player on my myspace page and I have stored music on my ripway account that I use on the standalone mp3 player on myspace. these songs can not be downloaded, only listened to from my web page (streamed), but every time I go to play the song I cannot because ripway keeps locking my account because of over downloading, and I have to wait for the bandwith to go down, but for no reason. I really hope this is a problem that can be fixed in the future, and that would bump your rating to a 9 or 8 (no one gets a 10 in my book), and remember the problem I have is that people are just listening to my music and not downloading it, but ripway sees it as them downloading it (because it uses bandwidth and therefore exceeds your bandwidth limit).

I like ripway more than any other free file hosting site out there. I love how there are no popup adds or anything like that. everything is neat and clean. It is easy to upload and host files free, and that is very important. The only thing bad I have to comment on is the low bandwidth allowance: it gets used up quickly for free accounts, but I am happy with the ammount. I give RipWay a 9 out of 10 userrating. A very good website. I would have rated this site as a 10 instead of a 9 but occasionally people get "page cannot be displayed" when downloading from a link I have posted. No biggie though. A second try usually works. I have a free account (although that might change soon) and no spyware is installed on my computer, no nasties at all, and best of all, no advertisements are displayed in my links. Freedom to upload most file types is a bonus too. Prior to joining here, I had a premium account at Boomspeed.com. What a joke. I was doublebilled at least once a year, insulted when I questioned the account in their forums (which is the only way you can get hold of them) or was before I joined here and their servers were down for days quite often (refund..huh, what's that?). When I told them I was going elsewhere, they told me I would not find a better service. Hahaha, really? Good job, Ripway.

Ripway allows the free web hosting of personal music which is hard to come by in a free service. I've spent hours searching and have not been happy until I found ripway. sometimes on my myspace I want music files that nobody hosts, metal just isn't cool enough to be hosted I guess. So I have to turn to something else to get my music playing on my myspace. it was a real pain until I found ripway. even its free hosting service allows hosting of mp3 files. It is simple, and by what I've experienced, quite reliable webserver. I've never had problems. I've recomended ripway, and continue to do so.

I like the services. it is a nice free web account. I mainly use it for FTPing some temporary stuff. The only thing I don't like: when I am not using my account for some time, I am not able to login via ftp. I was blessed that I could use your free hosting service and built a web site to point to my new domain at a time when the template from a domain I had over three years corrupted and I could no longer post to that domain name. that happened in April of this year, and for the two month transition I could use an index.html file to point to our new domain. I typically upload images and files to use in forums, etc. It is great that a person is able to "hotlink". This opens many possibilities for people that would have went without otherwise. (i.e. myself). I can't speak of the support at Ripway -- I've never had a need for it. The features are super. The uploader is the easiest I've seen anywhere. I give Ripway a rating 10! I would give it more if I could. If you need a free hosting site that is easy to use, Ripway is tops in my book!

I have used it only 2 months (since 27 April), but this free web space hosting service is good for me. maybe you can upgrade the web space from 30MB to 50MB/100MB, and the bandwidth is too little; maybe 100MB/day is enough. btw, I am glad to use it, and I hope they add a little service like a counter.

Ripway definately hosts some things that I just couldn't host with other sites. way to go, ripway. you guys rock! my only concern is the bandwith issue. It is definately nice, especially for my free web hosting account, but it can be a hassle that once you reach the bandwidth limitation, it becomes disabled. It only lets me upload two songs, and ever other day it says "In the last 24 hours, you have used 25.27MB (101%) of your daily download allowance", when I haven't downloaded anything. I would never pay for premium web hosting service if this was to be expected!

The only thing I don't like about this free web site hosting service is that the daily transfer is limited to only 25MB and the free web space is limited to 30MB only. Otherwise the interface is squeaky clean and the FTP transfer is fast, although they don't allow CHMOD settings to be changed.

Ripway is an excellent free file hosting service, and if I had need for a larger account I would definitely get a paid hosting account. The only negative aspect of Ripway I can think of would be their filesize limit, and the download limit, but the upload limit of 10mb is more than adequate for most files, and has a fast server. The support is excellent with quick responses to problems. This is definitely recommended to others, rated 9 out of 10!

This is one of the best and most reliable free web site hosts I ever used. No advertising and a really good and stable host. The only small problem is the use of ftp with uploading to subdirectories. But I can live with this. The other problem is that I'm not able to see the url from a inlogging user. Also use of an external url service is not allowed. You guys are pretty good but you charge money for more storage space but I could just go over to bolt and upload more for free than here, but that isn't my main concern. I only uploaded about 6mb and you guys always say I uploaded like 40 or more mb, and that makes me mad because I didn't upload that much! So that is why I gave you a 5 rating. Ripway is a nice freehosting site. The only complaint is, of course, the limited daily bandwidth. This is completely understandable, as bandwidth isn't free. I use your website for all of my uploading needs. if I was old enough I would definitely pay, but unfortunately I can't.
I only use your web site to host the music for my weblog at the moment, but in the past I have held small programs and homework. the only thing I don't like is the small amount of storage space given to free users. I sometimes use this to host my homework in computer tech, but have found that the free space given is too low to hold most of my work. but the work I have held (images, pdf's and swf's) have uploaded and downloaded swiftly even on the slow connections at school. I just want to say good work and keep it up.

I have to say at first I was upset, but after using this more often, there really is none better. I mean it makes everything so simple to do. I strongly recommend you upgrade to the highest hosting plan they have. that way you don't have to worry about having your bandwidth taken down. If you have a friend and you want to post a pic be sure you don't do too many. I learned the hard way that you will lose a lot of bandwidth.

I chose Ripway because I could uploaded psp, wmv, jpg, gif, and html files. I also prefered it because it did not need to FTP to upload. The free version let me try out the site to see if liked it. It is very easy to see how much web space/bandwith I've used. I'm not sure about how to check to see who has been looking at my images, but not that important to me unless I suddenly go over my limit The code previews are also wicked helpful for posting on myspace and message boards.

Excellent! About a week ago I tried Atspace.com and wrote a review about it here. I had tremendous problems with Atspace, and could not get an account set up. Perhaps they were having technical difficulties, but I tried for several hours. But then I tried Ripway and wow! everything worked perfectly. Couldnâ??t have been faster or easier. For a simple, mostly-text-based website, the 15 Mb/day download limit should not be an issue. It was easy to edit my site, track the amount of bandwidth being used; and everything was very self-explanatory and intuitive. Although I have only used it for about a week now, it is fast and working well for me.

I appreciate this free service, and until a while ago Ripway was totally fussfree and very user friendly. Any downtime does not last long and is usually announced in the website. The one change for the worst is the requirement to login once a month, lest the free hosting account will be deleted without warning. I use Ripway to host the image files I have for my blog. if I have no new images to upload, I don't have to access my account, or I shouldn't be made to.

Horrible. The most frustrating site ever. I've wasted so much time simply trying to upload files. It makes me even more upset that I have paid you. When you pay for something, you expect it to work anytime you need it, everytime you need it. Ripway has fallen drastically short of my expectations, and I'm sure the expectations of many other people. I would appreciate a refund of all the money I dumped on Ripway, but I am quite sure that will never happen. Much like the convenience I expected when I paid for a service. ripway is a great idea on paper, I tried it out a few times to see if I would actually go ahead and upgrade my free hosting account to a paid account and attain more memory. I've been using this site for about 4 months. In the months this site was only down once. Extremely reliable if you ask me. In addition it's extremely fast server too. I wish I could get more downloads. it did go from 10 to 15 megs, but I can't complain because it's free! The only one thing I don't like is that I have to make sure I log in once a month. Excellent site. My first choice for storing audio media. I recommend this web site to others. The hosting website is consistently available, and hosting is always extremely fast. I have never had occassion to use the support features - never had a need to. Most importantly, user interface is simple, understandable, efficient.

I only started the other day, but so far I'm very impressed. My only quibble is the fact that you count images in your bandwidths - they are usually small files and therefore it seems a bit unfair to charge people when they've only got 15mb a day or whatever it is. Anyway, you guys looked reliable so I upgraded to the most basic $5 deal, and I'm happy. Good work. do I get a free-for-life upgrade?

Well, first off, the positive aspects about this free web hosting site is that it completely fills my needs of storing my documents and having access to them from another location. That is really important to me, because I begin to travel a lot this year and I'll be using more this service. Great idea.
The only negative aspect I can say is the cancellation of an account if a user does not log in for about 3 months. I lost my internet connection and was without it for three months, so that impacted me in a negative way. I would suggest extending the deadline to five, even six months of inactivity before cancelling an account.
I've used this free webspace host for about a year and I have not experienced any downtime every time I've used it. The web hosting is pretty fast to be free, and its features are also very, very good. Thanks a lot.

I am very happy with the service. I am also very shocked that the help is so quick and responsive. Most websites I've been to take forever to get to you (if they even get around to you) but this service on the other hand were very respectfull and helpfull. The best aspect of Ripway is that it's free! I can upload many of my images, music, files, and whatnot. The negative aspects I see is that I have to login in once every month to keep my free hosting account active. Usually I'm too busy to have the chance to login. Of course I would you recommend this free hosting. I have used it probably about 3 years. I've never experienced any downtime when I login. The server speed depends if the file size I'm uploading is large, and since I have dailup, it's pretty slow. The support/features are good. Whenever I need to ask a question about any problems I had, I got a quick reply, and the people who reply are nice enough to help.

Ripway is a nice hosting site, easy to manage and convenient. I understand the limitations on free hosting, that both stimulates people to learn how to handle html and hold sites and functions as apetizers for the paid hosting itself, which is what supports the site and the business themselves. I have my second account running now, and before I had one in my own name closed for inactivity due to a period of illness that I went through. It's an awesome site. It starts stinking really bad though when it cancels your PAID subscription for no reason or when it says you've "exceeded your daily downloads" (like today for example) when in fact you've only used about 13 mega bytes from your 300 allowance. please do something to correct this. It's very hard to use this site because when people view the file it takes up part of the daily usage allowed. Something should be done about that because that means the small quota is reached everyday. Because if you can't put the files on links, what are you hosting for?

Speed: I've had no complaints about the server speed, but I have had a few compliments.
Reliability: I haven't experienced any downtime that I am aware of.
Bandwidth/Storage: Both exceed my current needs. Thank you for being so generous.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this service to anyone. They say there's no such thing as a free lunch, but this website gives you a free buffet.

Started using the free service with relative ease. Now that I've paid for storage upgrade I keep getting limit exceeded message but shows I've only used 15% of total. REPEATED EMAILS GETS NO RESPONSE FROM RIPWAY! Uploads don't seem to be as easy now that I've paid. If you want a semi-basic website for no cost and without ads/annoyances, this is the host for you Forget about GeoCities, AngelFire or any other travesty of a "free" host - RipWay rocks! The only downside to this host's service is that it doesn't support scripting such as PHP unless you upgrade to a pay account, but other than that, it is the best ad-free host I've ever used, and I have no plans on leaving them any time soon. I really like the web site since it is much better than iwebmusic.com. I have upgraded to 150 mb max per day but I think it would be better if there is not max limit for downloads per day; just max limit of stroagespace for songs uploaded to hosting account. it would be nice to have songs that can play for a long time without having to use up certain amount of web space and then stops playing, even though we have upgraded an account. thanks.

i am trying out the free hosting at first, although I am kinda happy. i hit my "download" limit in like seemed 1 hour. wow, i had made a player at mygen and added the six songs to put in over at myspace profile, and that was it. after that, the player was dead because you guys locked me out. thats a drag man because if i pay, and create a full player there, one with 20 songs, I am gonna get hit again and again? Great service, BUT I really wish the daily transfer was larger. I have lost graphic arts clients, art gallery prospectives and prospective art sells due to the viewer long being able to view my pages. I use your music hosting website for a reason because i thought you hosted music. You trick people into buying more space but still have limited hosting capabilities and small bandwidth limit, like 10mb a day. I use it for my website. The music does not play anymore because too many people (which should never happen) come to my web site and the music activates. So i have to wait now till it starts back up. To me ripway is a good site for uploading stuff. Better than most sites i have seen. If you could increase 30MB to 50MB that would be perfect. I would definetly recommend Ripway! Only twice it has been slow but generally it is quick server, faster than www.freewebs.com by far! I especially like the FCK editor (HTML text editor from fckeditor.net) on Ripway. There are few bugs which i have noticed, but it is excellent.

I really like how easy it is to work with all my files. There is absolutely no clutter of banner/spam/adware at all. That is what makes this my favorite, and I have yet to ever find another host who can match this quality alone. My only complaint, is absolute versus relative pathing. For some reason, Ripway does not offer relative linking. This is quite a hassle when using third party software for such things as making flash movies. With un-editable output files, you simply can't publish, because you can't change the relative paths to the absolute paths of where your files are. Other than that, if you just want to post some pics, some tunes, throw up some basic html, then all is good.

good site, easy to use. however the download limit on the free account is a bit low. I don't use the site enough to go for a payed account but I noticed that my account gets frozen because of people downloding such a small amount. I'm over by 12% and my account is down for 24 hrs. Besides that I really like the site and would recomend it to anyone seeking free file hosting.

This website is pretty cool! It provides 30MB free and the best thing is: you can use your own PHP files and even .HTACCESS! This gives an ability to create a proffessional website without any functionality limitations! I've never seen a better free web host!

1: It is a much easier layout to maneuver in. In other webhosting websites, i get confused on which buttons are for which things.
2: Yes, i would recomend this freehosting, and i already have.
3: I think i started using ripway around August 2005.
4: Nothing has gone wrong, except when the software was switched, but over all the reliability is good, and constomer service replys quickly.
5: I'd say their web hosting server is fast.
6: support is good. the new short url helps me take up less room, the bandwith updates help, and the announcements almost everyday when there is a problem are good.

Actually I'm using this since customer service seems to be broken. Other than that, I like your being available when I need you. Without ripway, quite a few of my internet voyages would be impossible owing to my lack of an internet connection at home.

Good host, very complete (PHP etc.), nice service and if you have one small homepage, it's even to be rated ten. But 15Mb bandwidth a day is a little too small for a usual site. My site over there is still in beta-version, but when I open my page, I lose 1% of my bandwidth. I figure, when I am ready, I can only have about 25 visitors maximum a day and then I must be very cautious with the files I use in my pages. But still... nice free hosting service.

I really love this site. Of course I don't like the fact about the limited bandwidth and such, but I know that's a given and you can't do much about that. The only thing that I don't like is half of the time when I upload a file, it will take about 15 minutes to upload and when it does, the "Page Cannot be Found" page comes up, and it keeps coming up repetitively until the next day or so. But other than that, I can't complain. I absolutely love this. keep up the excellent work.

I did start with a free account, but now have paid account. In general I am very pleased with the hosting service. I like the look of the website - the setup + format of the interfaces is easy on the eyes. I also like being able to edit html from witin the host website. I miss the notepad files that used to track which files were being downloaded. I would like to be able to batch-upload groups of images but the current upload dialog works fine too. Would I recommend this free hosting? Absolutely, and I recommend this site all the time. A big limitation of the free accounts was the former 3meg file limit; now it's up to 10 and that seems like a great deal. I have used this host one or two years. Downtime is rare and usually short. I'm on almost every day. Generally the upload speeds are good with DSL.
I'm pretty lazy when it comes to tech support - I'm not likely to browse FAQ's or search help pages for very long. I did make a few inquiries in the ripway help forums at one point and got some good feedback from a rep. Daily updates on my account page regarding the progress of the site are good, but I don't usually read them. Mostly I like to log in quick, upload, update, and get out.

The free hosting is fine, but the 24 hour thing doesnt work, at all. I haven't uploaded anything in days, but it says that i've uploaded 120% of my total uploads for a day. This is what is making me angry, so my username doesnt work. I just want to know how long it will take this thing before I can hear music on my website again.

Positives--People can add their files onto there webpages without need to download/open files (i.e.hotlinking).
Negatives--Small Download Limit.
I would recommend it. It is reliable, fast hosting server. I don't like the fact that if they only allow 15MB downloads.

This is an amazing service. I have tried other free services as I offer free templates for bloggers. I have been let down numerous times by other free services and this one not only rocks but it is simple to use, uptimes is fantastic and they offer a great bandwith and storage. wow i'm so happy i found you guys. this site is by far the best than any other site i have visited with webhosting. i was actually using myfilehut.com which is a webhosting site, and it was okay. until i found yours. i'm here to stay. this site is very fast and very easy to use. also gives you not only the urls, but the codes with it too. all in one; its so smooth and the best ever. like myfilehut, once you get the url you have to go to another site to get the code for music, which i hate. but your site gives you both, so i don't have to go to another site to get the code.

Great simple service. Sometimes the bandwidth measurements aren't cleared to show an on-time measure, but that's completely fine. Good bandwidth for small-scale hostings or file storage, though the rates for paid service are a bit strange for the amount you pay in comparison. Hosting files is a little slow sometimes, but support and tracking of files is very organized.

Mostly all positive. There was some downtime there, but hey, hardware problems happen. Other than that though I've never experienced downtime. I wish one could have a little more disk space for files but overall the price is more than reasonable. And now, things have improved considerably; the server speed, and I LOVE the shorter url's. Yes I would (and have) recommended this web site.

Positive aspects with a free web host is that it's free. I would recommend it to someone. I have been using it for a few months myself. In the beginning the free webhosting was confusing and hard to understand, but after I got my questions answered it was ok. It is sometimes slow. I like it because it shows a media player on my page. I don't want my page to be any slower than it already is.

Ripway.com has great service and I have been looking for a website like yours for a while. I needed this website for myspace. I have many songs on my computer that i cannot find codes on. So thank you, but i rate you with a 8 because of the fact that the free version is very little amount of web space and the fact of disabling it for 24 hours if i upload too much megs is ridiculous. I think the site is pretty good overall, but 15 mb is a little small. say you have a 6mb song, If three people view it, there goes your daily allowance. I think if for days you don't get any hits, they should add up for another day since it is called "allowance". I think this web site is fast and I wouldn't care if it was slow as long as dont have to worry on how many people look at my things, I know it's free web hosting, but i think you guys have the right speed and equipment to handle it. the site is pretty cool, except for the fact that when others download your songs it increases your bandwidth allowance thingie. i think it'd be kool if you guys made it optional to allow others to download your songs because i have a few that are special to me and my boyfriend but half the time they dont work on our myspaces because people decide to download them. IT JUST REALLY STINKS...ya know. but overall i love the site. its really useful.

But of course, on free subscribers like me, the 15MB (formerly 10MB) limit of public downloads really stink. That is the only single negative aspect of Ripway. This site is the best for free or paid hosting! there is not 1 single bit of ad or popups (which i really hate). they upgrade their services once and a while. you get 30mb of free web space and 15mb of daily download usage. you can upload 10mb!!
also upload usage (10mb) was 3 mb
also daily transfere limit was 5 then 10 now 15mb!!
Trust me when i say that ripway is the best! there is no popups on the website or ads, easy to use ftp usage and more! The least you could do is cheak it out!

Everything from your free service is great. I would recommend your service to my friends. I have been using your service for 2 years now. I do find that your service is reliable. The only features that is missing would be script libraries such as forms that can be saved on the system rather than sent to email. Other than that, most form of web scripting works great.

Everytime I download a song, it tells me that I've exceeded my limit (after a day or so). The problem is, that's not true. It says that I downloaded something again this morning but I never did. My account is constantly locked, with a few rare occasions, and therefore the music hardly ever plays on my page. It's a great idea...I just wish it worked.

Well this is is amazing for uploading content. you can even upload songs onto their server directly from their upload menu, which is rare, and the let you use content directly from their server to your myspace page/ blog (live journal) xanga, website and all. Most hosts don't let people do that. The downside is that if your bandwidth usage gets too high, they disable your account for a day. :-/

I have been using this hosting site for a few years now. Whenever I had an issue, it was fixed easily and quickly. My only negative feeling towards this site is that we should be getting more web space for how much we are paying. That alone has made me want to change sites many times, but I can't very easily because I've had those items on that site for years. I did recommend it to a few people when I first started. But even emails are giving away free 1 and 2 GB space. The downtime has never been a problem, and it's always done everything I need it to do. Yet again, my only thing against this site is the need for more general space for how much we pay each month.

I like the fact that it allows the uploading of files and provides codes to be used (music) for websites like myspace, but I don't like the fact that the allowed bandwith is so low. It doesn't allow my projects to run smoothly at all, and I usually have to use another service to get it running.

I have no such complaint about ripway's performance. it has been exceptional. the free web host is quite fast, yes. the only thing i wish would be that the daily download for free web host would be a little bigger, say like 20mb? allbeit, ripway rocks!

The website is ok, but every single day the music codes on my free webpage stop working. Sometimes they stop working for two maybe even three days and it is very very annoying. Right now all of my songs have been disabled even though I put the codes in about 3 days ago and haven't re-entered them or anything. I've just left them on there, now almost every evening the song doesn't work. I know it's something to do with bandwidth but I don't understand it [Seems your music file was downloaded too many times such that it exceeded your bandwidth limit]. Apart from that the service is ok. I like that it creates codes automatically for music files etc.

While this site has been very useful to me so far, I believe that the download capacity should be lowered, and the storage space should simultaneously be raised. Also, although I'm currently on Plan B, I would use the highest paid plan if it could store more than 200mb of web space. I'm sure many other users would follow.

I have no problems with Ripway, except that people can't see the links to your files in AIM and AOL.

Everything one needs in a file hosting site. Ripway is the best by far. I recommend it to everyone who asks aobut web hosting. I have used it for about 3 years. I have never had any complaints except that it deleted my account when I went on a trip for a month. Lol, I came back to find that my account had been deleted.

I love this freehosting. I recommend it, and I rarely ever see any downtime. The one thing that I think we need is the daily download limit to rollover, and if you go over your daily limit it should eat into the next day's. Good Web host.

I like this website because you can upload all kinds of files and not just pictures. One of the things I don't like about the website is that the website allowance is inaccurate. We're allowed a certain amount of MB to load for every 24 hours, but it seems as if it counts wrong. the last time I loaded something it locked my account because it said that I exceeded my amount within a 24 hour period, and it wasn't the case. My last load was about 2 weeks ago until the last one last night and now my account is locked. It's upsetting that this happens when I only loaded about 3MB last night. Can this be fixed?

I sure like the idea of being able to put song or quick snippet of a video up on the web that I don't have to host. I have not ever had a problem accessing the site, my content, even when they said they were moving servers. This is an awesome service - Thank you.

Best free web host out there, IMO. Very easy to use and best of all, ad-free. Perfect for storing images and photos, though you can upload music files, zip files, Flash, and pretty much anything else you want. Also supports PHP scripting. I have been using it since April last year and have no complaints about their services. Also their subscription plans are very affordable.

Great system to allow people who run proboards sites to host external coding, and a great way to allow people to check files. Great way for hosting things like assignments in case your version gets corrupted. All for free? It's incredible. Very reliable. Only negative is the login every 30 days.

It is very easy to use and the speed is adequate. I like being able to edit my html files in the online text editor. The storage space is smaller than some, and the max file size is as well, but it is adequate for my purposes, which are mainly storing midi files that I made and making them accesible to others online. I would reccomend this service for use with small files, but not for large ones. The servers are always up as far as I know. I've seen them down for adding new files, but the old content was still accessible. I have been using this service for around a year or so, and I am pleased so far. I would use it more if it had more storage space though.

You have a great service here. Absolutly the BEST free web host on the internet. The only thing I would want different is slightly higher daily bandwidth and maybe more memory. Another thing I would like to see on the free accounts is a MySql database. I know, it's unlikely, but its worth a try. Right? Anyways, thanks for the site. I absolutely love it.

Ripway is pretty good. It is the best site for audio and filehosting I have found so far. The only thing that can be frustrating is the small daily bandwidth limit which makes my audio lock up when i put it on a website. Other than that, keep up the good work.

why would you count a link on a website as a download? i got this so i could use my music on my website, and half the time it doesn't work. i really think you need to change that. i can understand upload ristriction, but why download?

Simply THE BEST! Easy to use. very freindly communication! I had a problem uploading (my fault), and when I contacted customer service I had an e-mail the next day. wonderful. I have used a few hosts, but this is a keeper!

I chose to start an account with Ripway because it was free and gave everyone a decent amount of free web space, but it keeps locking my hosting account saying that i've exceeded my daily limit. meanwhile, i didn't even log on that day, let alone download any music! It angers me!

Ripway has provided me with excellent file hosting, way better than the ones I've seen. I would definitely recommend this site, whether its file hosting or web hosting you want. I've used this for 2 or 3 months, and I am definitely satisfied. Usually the server is up, and on very rare occasions its down, and is pretty fast. Its support is pretty nice, though I wouldn't say its the best.

I would and have recommended ripway.com to friends who are looking for a webhost. I have been using Ripway for over a year, and the only time I've ever had trouble was with the huge move recently. It was rocky, but I appreciated that you were constant and steadfast in keeping your customers informed with the messages on the main page. The only thing I might suggest is that you allow a bit more bandwidth or storage for paying customers, as you have for the free accounts. After all, we are still here after the move. Loyalty means something! ;) Keep up the great work!

This is a great File hosting service. They give you 15MB a day of File transfer. They allow up to 30MB of files per account in up to 10MB per file. They show when something has been accessed within seconds of the event, They don't force ads onto and HTML pages you upload, and best of all they give this for free. The only negative I have found is that there is no way to know which particular files are being accessed.

The positive is you upgraded it not too long ago and thats a good thing. the negative is you don't allow enough Bandwith a day.
Would you recommend this free hosting? Yes, because is is a good place to host.
I have used this free web space host about two months now. This free web hosting has been reliable until my downloads been locked because of a .001 KB overdraw in Bandwith. It is faster server than the other host I am with. The new upload thing doesn't work.

there's no /you after all those directorys, you get a directory and the bandwidth is pretty low and they have had Mysql Comming Soon since like last year but they are pretty stable and are ad-free and have php support. I have seen better hosting, but its good for new sites.

A little unconventional, but good for hosting small, low-traffic personal sites and etc. Also aimed at file-storage, allowing you to remotely load your images/files. Great support. Never had any downtime, but the occasional problem connecting to their ftp server. 30 MB of space to do what you want with is good, but the one drawback is the 5MB/per day bandwidth limit put upon free accounts, but it is still fine for small, personal pages, and storing images for use on message boards, auctions and etc.
