"File Lodge" provides free file hosting services of most filetypes. Allow users to freely upload and host up to 500mb of files on its server, with a maximum file size of 50mb each. Supports all file extensions except php, php3, php4, phtml, cgi, pl, asp, aspx, cfm, exe, html, htm, cmd, com, cpl, hta, pif, scr, bat, vbs. Powered by CeleronDude.com Uploader script version 6b2.4. Registration required to use the free file host. You can upload multiple files at the same time, and are given links for you to post on forums, webpages, blogs or any website or email. The uploader script also generates [img] tags for all images uploaded, allowing for easy image display on message boards. There is no bandwidth limit specified, but bandwidth is monitored and if they decide a file is using too many resources they may delete it. Uploaded files are not deleted by the server after any set time. FileLodge.com has been aquired by Bolt.com (April 2006).

It has just announced the new policy:
"Due to excessive hard drive usage, files which are left un-visited for 7 days will be automatically deleted by the server."

Their website ads are a bit annoying, but the free image hosting service works well.

I tested this file host, and it was quite nice except for 2 things: 1) It did NOT specify in its TOS that they swore they would never sell nor rent any personal information to any third party, and 2) my account was disabled to upload files. I guessed it was a server upgrade (it said so on its homepage).

Wow. This site has the best free amount of storage, upload limit, and bandwith for a free site EVER! I'm am really happy with my experience, and I definitly recomend this website.

One of the only places with such big file size limits. I wanted to upload my home recorded music and was faced with web sites that either said limit of 3 files or unlimited files, limit of 500k. this is an easy to use, simple place to hold files online free.

Works great. I uploaded a fairly large image in firefox browser, and it hotlinked fast from their server.

Hey, FileLodge.com is the best file hosting site i choose ever since my previous file hosting provider went down. I have been using File Lodge for a week and heres my feedback on this file host. "Best file host!, 300MB and 5GB is worth the time for searching hosts with almost all file types supported under 10MB, no problem so far, only the small downtime last week, which thats ok. The file transfer opens normally like a file on your PC." I hope this file host provider won't go down like the other one, and this host is more convienient because of the selection of tags after uploading. File seekers, this is your last place to search for a file host, im positive about it. =D

They have a lot of file types accepted that many other free image hosts don't. I'd certainly be using this host. I've been using it for a week or two now. So far, I haven't seen any downtime and it's really fast. Great support. I haven't seen any downtime besides yesterday, which he announced and let us know because of a server switch. So the downtime was better because it moved to a bigger, faster server. I'd highly recommend!

file lodge is great because they let you hotlink files greater than 1Mb, but they are also kind of slow. I've used them for about a week, mostly for animated gifs, and they usually load at about 2/3 the speed they should play (which isn't bad, about 20 seconds for a 15 second clip) but isn't as good as a pay site. Which they're not.
