If you signup (instant account activation), you can create free photo albums, public or private. For $2.99/month you can remove all limitations and the watermark. Limitations: You can upload JPG, GIF, or PNG files; The no-signup images only last 30 days.

The watermark on free image hosting makes complete sense in my opinion. You don't have to deal with ads on the site, the least you could do is let them tack on a small, ineffectual logo. I think its a terrific site. I've used it since the beginning, and I think it's very user friendly and dependable.
