"Padlock Host" is a free image hosting company that hosts your images on a secure server (with https URL), which allows you to hotlink images on secure pages (such as PayPal checkouts, shopping cart pages, and other secure pages) without receiving security warning popups, in addition to hotlinking images using the normal http URL provided for all images uploaded. The free image host currently provides unlimited bandwidth (within reason) and multiple output URLs (useful for ebay auctions/listings or myspace) for both the full-size image uploaded and its generated thumbnail pic. The filesize limit is 1MB per image file, and you can upload pictures free with these file extensions: gif, jpg, png, jpeg, bmp, tiff, tif. Hosted images remain on their server for as long as their server is up. No account registration is required, and you can anonymously upload up to 3 pictures at a time using the uploader form on the "Padlock Host" home page. The free imagehost website also features a useful tutorial of how to make and embed an image into a PayPal shopping cart secure web page.

Unique. This is the first (and only so far) free image host server I have seen that provides a secure server URL (beginning with https://) for hosted images, in addition to the typical non-secure URL. Hotlinking is allowed on forums, websites, blogs, MySpace, etc.
