"Upload Ready" supplies 100% free file hosting service where people can upload photos, videos, music mp3s, and most other filetypes (only scripts like php and cgi are banned due to security concerns). The file size limit is 500 MB, and there are no download limits. No registration is required, and users can enter a file description for the files when uploading. The web site is running on multiple dedicated servers, and each file upload is automatically routed to the less used dedicated server. The service is compatible with download accelerators so you can resume broken downloads. If no one downloads the file for 30 days, it will be deleted from the server.

It took quite a bit to upload only 3mb. Userfriendly enough, but just gives a link to download, not view or access. Was compatible with my TGA file, when many others were not. Wonderful lack of annoying banners and advertisements.

Doesn't resume broken downloads, like what it states. [That probably depends on what software you use.]

Filefactory used to be our favorite, but since they use this p2p-redswoosh-shabang-spythingy-in-it, it's not nice to send BIG files. But thanks for Uploadready. Uploadready is my favorite free file uploader. Depending on the hour of the download (when it's busy at their server the download is also slow) we are very satisfied about it. Thanks to uploadready, our friends don't have to wait long to see our files. And it's easy to use. It's also nice to see how many times it has already been downloaded. Really amazing! Thank you Uploadready. Nobody paid us to say so; you are great!
