"Yes Album .com" provides free image, digital photo, animation, and flash files hosting service. 50MB disk space and 1.5 GB monthly data transfer are free for all registered users. Users can create their own photo album. Hot linking is allowed for use on forums, auction sites, and blogs. Supported file formats: .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, .TIF, .PNG, and .SWF (Macromedia Flash). File size limit for free files hosting accounts is 1 MB. Upgraded members (paid service) could even upload movie clips (Max file size is 8MB) and HTML files, and be rewarded by Advantage Program.

For the longest time, YesAlbum had been free hosting; all it was was an alternative to Photobucket. They even used the same coding as Photobucket's old code, so I am going to assume it was an open source coded site. So yay, we had an alternative to Photobucket. But then all of a sudden YesAlbum became a paid service without notice to its uploaders, and now we can not get access to any photos we uploaded prior to the change of its terms. The links to our photos are broken, and when you log in, it says "Your Free Membership has Expired"--when there was no warning that it WOULD expire, or that it was going to be a paid service. I do not recommend this awful service to anyone. Photobucket would be more likely to get my money for premium service.

After my free "trial" that I did not know of expired, I could not even look at my pictures I had in there since it was locked! I lost all of those! This is a horrible picture host. Photobucket forever.

After having a free account for over two years, I received an e-mail stating that my account is now locked and that I will have to pay in order to access it. I now see that their site states that free accounts are only good for 7 days now. I definitely would not pay for YesAlbum when there are far superior alternatives. Within the 2+ years that I used YesAlbum, I am not aware of a single new feature that had been added. While other image hosts continued to improve and add new features, YesAlbum remained exactly the same - bare bones and lacking even the most basic features. Also, back in 2006, they lost all of my pictures (along with a lot of other people's) without ever offering an explanation or apology of any kind. With free imagehosting accounts only lasting 7 days now, there is no use wasting your time on this one. It is a poor man's PhotoBucket clone with very little to offer.

YesAlbum was the best image host I have ever used. It allowed for bigger images to be uploaded and more. I have used this service for over a year with absolutely no problems. The site is simple enough to use but has complex add-ins, if you will. The host server is incredibly fast, making it a top choice. HOWEVER, when I signed up, I never read anything in the Terms of Service about my free account being terminated. I suppose this is YesAlbum's way of getting money. My account being stopped would be fine IF I HAD A WARNING. That's right: YesAlbum gave no warning that all my images would be lost forever unless I paid $30 a month. That is a large amount, and I do not have a Paypal account, so I can not pay it. I lost over 200 images that were not saved on my computer. TERRIBLE service.
Their freehosting service has been reduced to only a 7-days trial.

It is very userfriendly with reliable and fast servers. It provides good thumbnail views with image codes and uploading in one big page.

I have been using this free image picture hosting site for a few months now, and have never had a problem with it. I put it on par with photobucket and imageshack, both of which I also use.
