"Host My File .info" offers free file hosting and imagehosting services with 150 MB of online disk space storage for storing your files and 10 GB of monthly bandwidth per free account (the bandwidth counter resets every 30 days). The maximum file size limit is 100 MB per file. Free registration is optional, and the activation email is sent instantly. You can use this service to upload small or large files such as photos and images for auctions and forums, audio/video files, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, etc. Directlinking (hotlinking) to files is allowed. Allowed file types are jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, txt, mp3, wmv, psd, avi, mpg, mpeg, wma. The uploading of copyrighted works is strictly forbidden. Inactive accounts will be deleted (after unspecified time limit). You can upload multiple files at once, and batch file uploading (by uploading a single Zip archive of your files) is available if you want to upload many files at once. This batch uploading files feature saves you the trouble of selecting each file individually. You need to check "Extract Zip files" on the upload form to tell the uploader to extract all the Zip files you will upload (otherwise it will be hosted as a single Zip file). The file uploader service is powered by the celerondude.com script. The public uploader (uploading files without registering) is enabled, but has more restrictions. You can anonymously upload jpeg, jpg, png, gif, bmp, mp3, txt, avi, wmv, mpg, mpeg, doc files up to 1 MB each, but these file uploads are put into a public gallery.

This has to be the best file hosting site for music files that I have found on the web, and I have tried quite a few. it is simple, easy, and my hosted file links always work. thanks for this great site.

Incredible. I just tried to host a bunch of short mp3 clips on Geocities, and they only allowed me 4.2 MB of bandwidth! What good is that!? So, a friend recommended hostmyfile.info, and the amount of free space and bandwidth is awesome, not to mention they allow streaming mp3's free. Most excellent.

This host is good. they allow direct linking files, and give a generous amount of monthly bandwidth, just the thing you need for sharing your high-bandwidth consumption videos and music files on your blogs and website. when streaming videos, my hosted video gets cut off pretty badly. instead of streaming video, it is buffering it on my computer, and it is pretty sad, for me anyway.
