"Village Photos" is a free image host compatible with WebTV, eBay, Yahoo Auctions and Stores, other auction sites, EZBoard, and more. Free users get storage space for 50 images, URL filtering to prevent unauthorized hotlinking/bandwidth theft, access to their Page Designer HTML tools, image rotation/resize/compression, thumbnails, public and/or private online photoalbums (photo galleries) with titles/captions for each image, create and send online greeting cards using your own images, order prints of upload images, and can post the images on other websites. You can FTP upload images or use browser upload. Direct linking images is allowed ("hot linking"). Free signup is required. Several paid upgrade plans are also available for more features. Limitations: Maximum 50 images; GIF or JPG file formats supported; File size limit 250 KB; 1000 MB monthly data transfer (pictures in public photo albums have no bandwidth limits); 90-days inactivity limit.

It's a wonderful free service, one I highly recommend to my friends and family. I've used the photo hosting service for over a year, and found it quite reliable. Server downtime is rare. Highly recommend!

I've been an Ebay seller for about 7 years and have looked around for image hosting sites and this is by far the best. Not just good dependable image service, but an almost immediate response to any question about the service, problem or question about an invoice. Villagephoto is run the way all others should strive for. I suggest this site constantly to the Ebay newbies for it's ease of use and value. I started with the freebie account and upgraded almost immediately to the pay version due to their customer service and value.

I have been using this service for over 2 years, now probably closer to 3, and I love the free photo hosting service. In all that time my pictures have only been down 1 time and it was for a very short amount of time. Pictures load instantly and the features are very easy to use...They even offer the image gallery feature which some other well known photo hosting companies don't. I recommend this service to all of my friends who are looking to host their pictures free.
