"Glow Foto" is a dedicated image hosting solution provided by Glowdot; a completely free way to host images for use on message boards, ebay auctions, social networking sites (Friendster, MySpace, etc.) or pretty much anywhere you need to host images. HTML and BBCode are automatically generated for you after upload images from the brower upload form. Photo captions are optional, and can be up to 150 characters max. You can upload photos of any size, but if the pics are over 1200x1200 pixels, they will be automatically resized for you. A thumbnail image is also created, and you can choose from 3 thumbnail sizes. You may hotlink full images on any message board or forum, as well as personal websites and online auctions. The Glowfoto Mini-Gallery Generator allows you to upload up to 10 images at a time and automatically generates the HTML table code which allows you to display your images in a neat, formatted table - a minigallery of images. Allowed image file types are .gif, .png and .jpg.

The host is fast even when uploading huge files. The main benefit of this site is no file restrictions! It allows 3 thumbnail sizes and up to 10 uploaded files at a time. I'll take this over photobucket any day.

I usually love your service; however, recently I have encountered many problems with glowfoto. I am unable to view the web-page, upload pictures, or view other peoples pictures who posted them using glowfoto. I don't know if your customer service is aware of this problem. I do know that it is not just me. I know of at least 20 other people on our message board who were using Glowfoto and suddly cannot due to the same problems. As I stated earlier, this is/was a great service. Please fix the problem!

Is this claim "You may hotlink full images on any message board or forum, as well as personal websites and online auctions" for registered users only? I have been testing glowfoto for two weeks w/o registering. All link codes from glowfoto are for thumbnails.

Do they really deliver image up to 1200x1200? I can get thumbnails <= 400x400 hotlinked to my webpages. the viewers of my pages can see a "glowfoto failed" mark only.

I recommend this free host! It's free and you can upload 10 photos at a time! Everybody was able to see my digital photographs and told me it was fast and easy.

I love that I can upload my pics to this site and post them on my chat board. However, I do have one complaint most of the time I can't even view my collection about 70% of the time that I try to view my collection I get a message saying that my collection can't be found. Which is very frustrating when I am trying to share a picture.
