"Image Cave" provides free imagehosting, with image manipulation tools such as image resizing, conversion, rotate, compression, thumbnail and photo album generation. Direct linking and remote loading are allowed, so you can directly link any of your photos, albums, thumbnails, or album lists on any website, such as eBay auction, Live Journal, Blogger.com, or anywhere you need to post pictures. Short URLs (usera.imagecave/you/). Signing up is required, and paid upgrades are available for more storage space and allowed bandwidth. It now features unlimited data transfer (unlimited bandwidth), 10 MB image storage. BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF support. Free accounts are limited to 250 KB GIF or 1 MB JPG image files. JPG images over 250 KB will be compressed, BMP images will be converted to JPG files, and larger images will be rejected.

I just found ImageCave by accident a couple of days ago, and I was really impressed. Some of the free hosting services I have used don't (for some reason) always put a thumbnail image beside everything you download, which makes it hard to remember which image you uploaded there. So far, ImageCave has put a thumbnail beside every image file I have uploaded. No other problems have come up so far, either. Thanks! Keep up the good freehosting services!

ImageCave is great. After logging in, click on the "Add Pictures" link to upload pics. You can upload up to 7 files from your computer simultaneously, or below that form is another form to copy pictures hosted at another URL: "Transfer Images from a Website". Below that it says, "Enter a URL of an image on a website, then press the Transfer button to move the image to your account." That is an alarming statement. Why don't you say COPY instead of MOVE? I am sure it is just bad wording, as they cannot delete the image from another web site, but simply copy it to their webserver.

I would definately recommend Imagecave, and I do whenever someone needs a free imagehost server. I don't think it has ever been down on me once in the year or so I have been using it. It is fast and easy to use, and I love it.

This is an exceptional free image host website, especially considering the fact that it is FREE. Unlike other free hosts, ImageCave does not shrink or distort pictures. You can store literally thousands of pictures, and uploading is fairly fast. You can also transfer images off websites. This process is even faster. All in all, a reliable, easy-to-use host.

This is probably the best image hosting site ever, much better than Photobucket! I have been using this website for a couple of months now and I have not had any problems whatsoever! The webhosting is pretty fast even for large images.
