"My Online Images" is an image hoster free of cost and free of commercial ads. They have both a registered account option and an instant anonymous upload option. Registered users can upload 38 files at once via browser uploading, and thumbnails are made automatically. Hotlinking is allowed, so can use on ebay auctions, message board, etc. Hosted videos and images can be made private or public for viewing in their online picture gallery. Account images can be resized, rotated, flipped, or cropped in the control panel. You also are able to create folders, and have the option of password protecting them. When you signup for a registered account, you are given a free subdomain of their website. Paid upgrade hosting plans available. Limitations: File size limit 12 MB; 50MB storage space; Bandwidth limit of 1.5 GB/month; Supports BMP, JPG, FLA (Macromedia Flash Authoring file), JPEG, SWF (Flash), PSD (Adobe PhotoShop), NEF, PNG, GIF, ZIP, RAR, TIFF, MOV, AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV. They also allow zip extraction of files on their webserver.

I've done everything I've wanted to do with no limitations. There is a lot of web space for all your pictures, probably more than you could use. I've been using it since 9/05 and it's been down twice; both times for less than 1/2 minute. It's fast and questions are replied to within hours. Thanks, you've made my life easier!

Don't use it for Ebay auction listing. When emailed to why my images kept going down, I never even received a reply. I paid for this bad service and lost money.

Great service, well laid out and simple to use, only 500 meg of bandwidth though - this soon runs out.

I would certainly recommend this as a free service for hosting your pics. It's been pretty reliable and is also pretty fast. Been using it for 6-8 months now I think. Just wish I could alphabetize my pics. maybe I can and don't know how to do it. Absolutely worth a try!
