These are the most recommended free webspace / free webhosting providers (our opinion of free web site hosts based on our personal use and experience, and visitor feedback).  Of course, it depends a lot on what features you value the most: reliability, speed, scripting options, amount of webspace and bandwidth, type of forced adverts, etc.  Two of the largest, oldest, and most popular free website companies (though not the best free hosting for features) are Tripod and FortuneCity.  You can comment on and rate each host by going to that host's review page.
