"My File Hut" is a free file web hosting site on 3 dedicated linux servers. With the free file hosting account you get 250 megabytes of storage and 10 GB/month limit on bandwidth. Hotlinking or direct linking is allowed for auctions, forum posting, and other websites (free MP3 streaming enabled). There is a 50mb file size limit. Upload all your images, documents, music, video, audio, zip, rar, flash files, and more. All file types are accepted. Registration (free) is required, and there is a 30-day inactivity limit. The free file webhosting is powered by a custom version of the Uploader Celeron Dude script (has several unique mods). "MyFileHut tries to maintain a 99% server uptime, but makes no claims of reliability in serving or web hosting."

I was very pleased with this host until it frequently went down. I joined because it was online most of the time, but now the server uptime has been minimal over the past few days, so the whole reason for me joining was pointless. If it wasn't for those problems it would be a 10.

Lately I've been having issues with Filehut. Like today I can't get on to save my life. I keep getting a "can't find server" error. I loved it at first but now I am having doubts. I am glad I don't use it for my photos. I have a better server for that. I hope Filehut will be back soon (working I mean).

My File Hut is the better tool to host files. You see the bandwidth limit? 10 gb! And the free web space... 250 mb. Other free file hosters don't give this capacity (1,80 â?¬/month for 100 mb). AND MYFILEHUT IS FREE! Thanks to you, myfilehut team.

this site was good before they decided to upgrade their servers and made it "better". Ever since then I have only been able to get on the site twice, and that is just to the home page. Every time I go to log in it times out. I have about a week's worth of work to do and can't get to my pics. I have been trying this for 5 days now all day and get nothing done. I can't even log in to the forums to find out what is going on. If something don't change I'm gone.
[The owner says they expect to get a new server tomorrow (Monday).]

don't get me wrong; I love myfilehut.com. without them I'd be lost, but lately they've been having a LOT of problems. They have been down so many times in the past week I can't count. I use them to host stuff for my myspace, but they have been down, and now my myspace stinks. if you don't believe me, try going to www.myfilehut.com -- nothing happens. sometimes they are up and I can get there, but lately they've really been lacking.
