"My File Hut" is a free file web hosting site on 3 dedicated linux servers. With the free file hosting account you get 250 megabytes of storage and 10 GB/month limit on bandwidth. Hotlinking or direct linking is allowed for auctions, forum posting, and other websites (free MP3 streaming enabled). There is a 50mb file size limit. Upload all your images, documents, music, video, audio, zip, rar, flash files, and more. All file types are accepted. Registration (free) is required, and there is a 30-day inactivity limit. The free file webhosting is powered by a custom version of the Uploader Celeron Dude script (has several unique mods). "MyFileHut tries to maintain a 99% server uptime, but makes no claims of reliability in serving or web hosting."

There are not much host limitations being that myfilehut is slow to send activation email. I still cannot verify the host's aspects since I cannot even log in due to a need for email activation. Email should only be used for password retrieval due to the sluggish process of activation email being sent. I would recommend this free host only if it's quality improved i.e. the time it takes just to get your activation email just to upload songs. I haven't used this host on the account of not being able to sign in due to lack of activation email. I find this host most unreliable due to the fact that I cannot receive activation email to test actual host reliability. The host (Especially with email request) is extremely slow and poor. The host's support features are also poor since we have to send masses of request for our account to be activated since most of myfilehut's members never got their activation email after several requests and after waiting long periods of time for the email to arrive if it ever being sent.

I really wish you could still link the music. that's really annoying. I loved it because it was free and whatnot, but now I have to go somewhere else for that. I put it on my blog and didn't allow other people to download it. it's not as though I was doing anything awful. Anyhow, I do love the amount we're allowed to upload and how easy it is to use and whatnot, so I'll still give it a 5 rating. I mainly got the account for the free mP3 hosting though.

Excellent service. I had previously struggled posting images on forums and emails - but myfilehut gives you the tags when you up-load. I just keep these in a .txt file and insert as required. Very easy. Many thanks myfilehut.
