| Description: |
"My File Hut" is a free file web hosting site on 3 dedicated linux servers. With the free file hosting account you get 250 megabytes of storage and 10 GB/month limit on bandwidth. Hotlinking or direct linking is allowed for auctions, forum posting, and other websites (free MP3 streaming enabled). There is a 50mb file size limit. Upload all your images, documents, music, video, audio, zip, rar, flash files, and more. All file types are accepted. Registration (free) is required, and there is a 30-day inactivity limit. The free file webhosting is powered by a custom version of the Uploader Celeron Dude script (has several unique mods). "MyFileHut tries to maintain a 99% server uptime, but makes no claims of reliability in serving or web hosting."

MyFileHut is unbelievable. how do they offer 250 MB with 20MB file size limit practically unlimited bandwidth holinking for FREE? I dont know how but i love it.

Upload limit now is 20mb. wow! that's great. you can't find it elsewhere.

A good point is the hot link (direct linking) which many hosts will not allow. Another good point is no file type restriction. For me, the simple no hassle upload interface - many files can be selected and uploaded in one operation... yet another good point! I may have missed something here, but I just right click the uploaded filename and select 'Copy Shortcut' which can be pasted as required. Con? well, some hosts supply many forms of links to the file once it is uploaded: link,tag,img,url formats. MyFileHut does not do this - don't think I missed anything. I'm no HTML dude, so the abovementioned formats would be nice addition - of course one can easily learn the formats and just paste the "copied shortcut" into the needed format string. But this is long winded if many files to setup links for - say for eBay listing with many pics. Guess in that case I'll just use tinypic.com.
Course I only just signed onto MyFileHut - but is FAST, allows hot linking, can do multiple file uploads, supports any filetypes and well, it just works and is very simple to use - no messin about at all!

I saw this site advertised...i thought, hey great. sign up and activate the account and ready to go, at least that is what i thought. No matter how hard i try, i can't get a single upload done. So maybe i do something wrong? Lets check it out.
I checked the FAQ ==> THIS PAGE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
I checked the forum ==> complete blank page.
Now i ain't the big complainer and i don't expected ultra fast uploads and downloads, but i did expect something that is working. Sorry but if it aint working at all, and no help whatsoever (FAQ or forum) then all i can do is rate you 1 - WORST.

this is the best place ive seen for uploads. AND THE STORAGE SPACE IS UNBELIEVEABLE (I am only a free user).
