Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

This is the best site for all picture or whatever for my site for posting message and stuff for my site. I use it a lot so, I'm telling ya, it the best place for us or whatever Thanks.

what can i say an awsome site and the support/backup is first rate and very quick. i think that about says it all and covers it all. thanks to the staff for all there work in keepin the site going. excellent job.

this host is okay but it does run slowly all the time which is annoying when you want to add more important pictures it doesn't work all the time either and all i can see is little red crosses which is a real let down. although i do find this site more easier to use and to understand than other image hosts. I would reccomend this host to others although i would have to stress how slow it is. overall it is a good site with some letbacks some more important than others.

Its been great for me. allowed me to post my pics and put them on message boards. One downside is that we can't preview the edit/resize before its changed. Otherwise its great! Used it for about a year and I probably have about 80pics in it.

Since the free service has been drastically downgraded, I am transferring to 1 of the many other far better free sites which are out there.
Among my complaints about this site;
-Small max filesize of 250KB,
-small to average max space of 25MB,
-adverts been added to the gallery pages (though fairly inobtrusive),
-poor to non-existant way to label the photos in the galleries (thumbnails can display filenames but can contain numbers & text only - no spaces, commas, "&" etc. In slideshow mode, even the filenames are no longer displayed, thus leaving guests with no info at all on the pictures they are viewing.
A once good site is no longer worthy of major consideration.

I miss the old photobucket. now they're begging for $$. I have been using photobucket nearing a year in january, it's been reliable (only been down twice I recall) it's fast if you don't have many pictures.
