Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

I would have no hesitation in recommending photobucket. As a very new site owner 9 months ago the service has been invaluable to me and is quick and efficient,and 99.9% reliable regards downtime, any unreliability has quickly been dealt with and amended. Definitely a score of 10, and many thanks from me and my site members.

This is a Great service, but PhotoBucket needs to allow people to modify or add HTML to their albums. It would be alot better! Also they need to make an option for people to leave comments on photos! A forum would be cool too!

What a great service. Better than some of the paid hosting I've used. 25 megabytes of disk space. This is approx 500 images if your average picture size is 50K. 1500 MEG bandwith per month. This is enough for about 30,000 links to your pics.
This is probably enough for the average user but they have unlimited bandwidth and storage for $25/year.

I think the sign-up process is far too much. I was going to sign up but halfway through stopped because it was taking too long and all these things kept popping up and bothering me like "just one more step" happened about 51 times. Cut that down and it would be alot easier. NO one wants to go through all that. Having to submit to so many things is ridiculous.

I think Photobucket is the best free picture host on the net! I've used it for nearly a year now, and it's always been very reliable, my pictures have never disappeared on this free host and has kept them online. The limitations are very kind, I was amazed at the amount of pictures I could upload and use. There is a wide range of file formats to upload and the site is very user-friendly and easy to use. The uploading speed and the loading speed is VERY nice. I would recommend Photobucket to anyone who wants to show off art or have avatars and banners on internet forums. I congratulate the creators and the people who run this fantastic free hosting.

i like this sight a lot but i think you should make more options for people with the free account. a lot of people my age dont have a way to pay for a full one so we should get a little bit more.

I love the service, it is great for the things I use it for, I can put pictures up on message boards or on other websites. But there is one advertisement that causes alot of problems, it's an ad for a tuperware holder I think. But it's a movie format or somthign and when it comes up I have to reset my computer because it slows thigns down so much. I have a good computer, but a slow internet and this ad is inhibiting my use to photobucket. But besides this problem I recomend it to alot of friends and net buddies. I hope to soon upgrade my account to a premium. And I have yet to see downtime. As for speed only when i am using it and the issue ad comes up is it slow, otherwise it is quite fast.
